I'm very curious about how you made the slit-scan tunnel here: 0:40 Is there a process that I could follow so that I am able to try this via Blender? I've always wanted to create a straight vortex tunnel.
I usually do vortexes by projecting a moving texture onto a static cylinder object. In this case, it moves and animated a bit, but the forward momentum is achieved by the texture, not the physical movement of the object or the camera. For this title sequence, I used a magic texture, which can be seen at 0:47, which looked a fair match to the 1973 title sequence tube thing when applied with a colour ramp. I used a driver in the Z location on the texture mapping node which made it constantly move forward. In other instances, I have used a layered star texture or bands texture to create a vortex. Its not a perfectly malleable solution, but I hope it helps and thanks for the question!
The 3D model sequences were done using Blender, however I made the howlround effect in Premiere Pro with a 4 colour gradient plus turbulent displacement, however this can also be done in After Effects and would probably be easier to control

How do you make the texture scroll across the shape like that in the tunnel?
What software you used for the beginning and the end for the title sequence

Would u be open to doing commissioned work based off of this concept?
