Get some land. Build raised gardens, plant a variety of veggies. Keep bees for honey and learn to preserve your harvest. It can be done without a lot of land. I’m 72 years old, lived in Chicago for 65 years. Now I have a 5 acre farm in central Florida and farming. Hard work with many challenges but I feel alive and happy. Love your show and wish you good health and success.

A lot like parts of rural northern ireland, except for the temperature though....wouldnt mind some heat now!😊

I wish you could meet my dad. He’s a cantankerous old git (now 80) but growing up he used both sides of our garden (leaving the top and bottom grass for us kids) and planted all the veg we needed, potatoes, carrots, onions, spring onions, parsnips, marrow, rhubarb, green beans, runner beans, peas, strawberries, grapes (which he made wine with. He also made pea pod wine) - I’m sure I’ve missed some stuff. He would go to the butchers once a month, or every two weeks and stock up with meat which he would put in the freezer. He would also fix neighbours cars, usually spending hours and they would give him a tenner, although he would ask for nothing. All while doing his day job. All was self taught. Me, my mum and my sister would spend Sunday picking veg, podding peas, pealing potatoes etc for Sunday dinner and watching (and crying to) little house on the prairie, while dad was at the clubhouse taking a well deserved break. He could teach a thing or too. I keep thinking that I should go over his house and get all his knowledge on video before he pops off 😊 (that’s how we talk, all with humour) edit: oh and this was in London

For me living off grid, first traffic light 130 kilometers. no neighbors, no traffic, no noise, just clean air, crystal clear drinkable water everywhere, wildlife, lakes, forrest, mountains and life quality. A hard life but my freedom is worth all hard work. And the best of all, My own rules. If i drive once a year 260km. to the nearest smaler city for at shopping tools etc. I have to recover at least one week when home again from information and traffic stress, and seeing all people. This morning i had a moose cow with her kalf just in front of my log cabin terras with snow up to their belly eating last year's branches. Thats life quality that makes me feel good. A con is, when i injure myself badly or getting heart problems i have to accept that it can be over.

So many feel they can't survive if a hospital isn't within walking distance or a chemist to get their pills from Or an English doctor ALL NONSENSE We are baby boomers and have survived in several different countries 99% of the time WITHOUT medical interference.... Best of luck in your endeavour, but we can all do our bit. This spring I am turning the grass in my front garden into a vegetable plot - unlike before dandilions are welcome as there is so much nourishment in them. Getting myself fit and returning to climbing hills andd mountains. Getting mental resilience by finishing off with cold shower. Even to alter things by one degree sends us off in a totally different direction, not to mention using cash and frequenting small shops which are pretty good these days. All the best to all of us.

Hey Richard, although I've greatly enjoyed your monologues, the interesting people you've introduced us to, for your own health, move on. I've decided to do this recently, I took the step to completely ignore any mainstream toss during the plannedemic. That was a good first step. Now I'm just ignoring all the tossers who try to interfere with my life - they want to be 'noticed' to interfere. Don't let them. Even acknowledging these pathetic power crazed little twerp feeds their fantasies.
I withdraw my attention now and focus on family, health, and happiness. You should do the same Richard, for your own good.

Hello Richard from Northern California. Your channel, your unique style, your intellect, is a joy to me. It is nice to know that people all over the world are awake to the evil agenda of the aristocracy. I like reading all the comments. It truly is a great format and unique to the times we live in. I enjoyed the walk around the neighborhood. Getting back to growing on God’s beautiful land is always a good thing. When you plant a small tree and twenty five years have gone by and you reap a bountiful harvest every year, you have a great appreciation for the years that you cared for it and the forethought to plant it. We are all tired of waging war against the machine. We both know that we can never surrender our minds. Thanks again for the stroll. Be vigilant.

💯 in agreement Richard we have to get out and breath . Sadly the cost of buying land in uk is horrendous plus with stupid planning regulations they sure won’t let you live or build a home on it . Plus we are up against cloud seeding every single day , here in Shropshire I get at most 2 sun days in a month 🥹 plants need sunshine to grow 🤦‍♀️ look to Portugal where land can be bought incredibly cheap and the sun actually is allowed to shine 👍🏻

Richard, we all must remain strong, because without us……
You’re doing a fantastic job, no one else could do the job you’re doing. I believe people are chosen to perform a certain role in these uncertain times and I’m sure you feel that you have been chosen to do what you do, with your unique wittiness (is there such a word?)
I was just speaking to my wife this morning, she’s currently living in Portugal whilst I’m here in the uk ( under duress I might add) and we were both noting, in ourselves as well as in others, that the consciousness of the planet appears to be a bit blue, at the moment. I haven’t heard your whole monologue yet because I wanted to get this written to you but our moods are passing phases and it’s said that we should never make decisions when we’re a bit off.
I honestly believe that we are here at one of the greatest times that there has ever been to be alive. The whole of humanity is about to change for the better. We shouldn’t be afraid of this change we should embrace it and dance in the streets, with each other.
Keep doing what you’re doing. You may not realise what a blessing you have been to your audience. You’re time is now it hasn’t come and been.
