Today's world is a little tired, battered and bruised but, for a brief moment, you have transported us to "another world" - such a happy escape. Your delight in seeing all the lovely antiques is heart warming as is your enjoyment in visiting the townships that are really so quaint and lovely. I cant wait for your planned visit to Highbury too - what a treat - thank you! xx
OMG....I could live in those antique hangars!! It was heavenly just seeing all those beautiful antiques!, THANK YOU Kirten &Joerg for taking us along on your outing to Cotswald Hills!! Best wishes from USA
Thank you for taking us to this marvelous place of antiques. Now we know were to go if we go to England to buy. I always enjoy so much your videos take the minds out of all the turmoil in the world. Hugs of love and light to both of you.💖❤️🥰🥰
Lovely place to shop for antiques. The Mora Clocks are beautiful! I so enjoyed this video - it is so relaxing. Hard day today in NYC and watching this made me smile and relax.
Your comment about having to buy more houses is exactly what I say every time I go to an antique shop or a flea market, there is just so many beautiful pieces you just want to own them all. Really enjoyed your video as usual.
Thank you for all of the lovely content. You are a great team and it is always a pleasure to accompany you on your adventures (via the vlog). Happy days and all of the best!
You two cracked me up today! "We need to buy more houses"! Ha! I know the feeling. I love shopping trips where you see beautiful things and know that you don't have to worry about deciding what to buy, because you know you can't afford them!! It is so fun to look and enjoy though, isn't it? I would have wanted that lovely bird painting and the second of the clocks-they were just amazing!!
Every journey with the two of you in Britain is a joy of nearly inexpressible joy. It really does feed my soul. I have always loved antiques. As a girl my family had a dock down on the Detroit River where we offered cruises down to an island we owned. Just up the road from our docks was a very grand antique shop that remained there for decades, even after the riots of the 1960’s. It was my absolute FAVORITE place to explore when I was downtown, it held beautiful old things from across the world. I almost forgot-when my daughter was little I bought her a cow that could move it’s head while it mooed. It’s name was Rolly Polly Moo Cow and we loved it! She, at 30 something, still has that cow! I hope you both have a lovely Easter holiday and that your families are well. Happy Easter 🐣
Thank you so much Janice! I simply LOVE that your daughter (still) has that cow with such a fun name, it's very special. Wishing you a Happy Easter too.
Beautiful antiques. Yes you must go in knowing what you want, as not to over spend. The lunch looked so delicious. Love the countryside so beautiful and relaxing. Thank you for letting us join you both. Take care.
It's always fun to shop for antiques 🎭 But it's extra special to go along with friends. So thank you for taking me along with the two of you 👨🌾👩🌾 Love from your friend Joan 🌹🇺🇸
Thanks for this video. I love it that every week is a different theme and a surprise. Sometimes it's cooking than a table setting a trip into the country and on and on.I just love it all .💟🌷🇾🇪
Tetbury looked lovely and expensive but still worth a trip. The antique hangers and shop was so nice, almost like a showroom, you just knew that if you had to ask the price, you probably couldn't afford it. The village at the end of the video was just gorgeous 😀👍👍
Bizarre coincidence: I watched this while demolishing a bar of Highgrove organic milk chocolate bought in Fortnum and Mason in London this weekend! It must be about 15 years ago that I was last in Tetbury, and yes, I was overwhelmed in the antiques shops too!
I had to take a break in the middle because I was literally hyperventilating. 😂 Every piece is more stunning than the next! I would love to see any of those Gustavian clocks in your dining room. What an incredible inventory they have. Thank you so much for taking us along with you! 💗
This has been a lovey break from the cold and overcast home where the garden is white from hail, here in B.C. 🇨🇦 There you are with beautiful weather and Antiquing! The Antique shops in Tetbury are wonderful. Such gorgeous Antiques. Thank you for taking us with you. My 3x Great Grandparents were married in St. Mary’s Church in Tetbury in 1847. Yet sadly, I have never visited Tetbury. Next visit over there perhaps, on our Cotswold trip. Looking forward to your next video. Till then, take care, 🤗🇨🇦
Thanks so much Carole! It's amazing to hear that your great grandparents were married there. You also find Chavanage House in Tetbury where they filmed Poldark. I hope we find the time to visit this year.
I am so thankful you always take us with you on your trips! Kirsten, it's good I live in south Florida! My husband would never see me if I lived there.🤣 He knows how much I love antique shops, especially English antiques! I was drooling at everything at the Hangars!
You are so right in saying that one should have a particular item in mind when shopping in such a beautiful town. The amount of shops was amazing! Thanks for taking us along, SO many temptations!
"We have to buy more houses" - I was just thinking that the other day! 🤣 Oh, I could do so much damage in a place like that! (Or get completely overwhelmed and buy nothing). Thanks for introducing us to new places. It looked like a wonderful day out. Schöne Woche to you both! 😊🫖💕
I've loved visiting antique shops since I was a little kid in the 1960's. There used to be an antique shop in my little town. The proprietor restored a very old Victrola (with the morning glory horn) and made it look like new. It also worked perfectly. I did buy a few old shellac 78 rpm records from that store and could play them on my portable record player. I thought it would be so nice to have that Victrola in a special place in my bedroom. But since I was a little girl, I couldn't afford to buy it. Whether or not I can afford an antique, it's still fun to look. So it was nice to come on that trip with you two!
Thankyou so much for taking us along with you. Just love your vlogs, outfits, locations etc etc and you both look glowing! My dad loved collecting antiques, my mum still has much of his items..I brought a few items back to the US .. also keeps the memories alive….God bless
I collect antique china-head dolls, and I recently bought one online from a lady who got her somewhere in the Cotswolds… It’s fun to watch these videos and imagine where she might have come from! Happy Easter, Kirsten and Joerg!🌷
These hangers are loaded with goodies! We love antique shopping and go every chance we get. Very delightful tour and I was wide eyed looking through the antiques 🥰
This little journey to so many unique and old shops was inspiring. I too love the words “ roly-poly” which of course I learned from Beatrice potter! Antique shops here in my midwestern area won’t have the gorgeous pieces you get there in the UK, but are fun to visit! Have a happy Easter! My husband and I are celebrating 40 years of marriage this Saturday so we are on a little trip by ourselves to celebrate. Blessings, Mary
Awww so so happy you liked it, thank you Mary!! Wishing you a wonderful Easter and most of all, huge congratulations on your wedding anniversary, what an achievement. Sending much love.xx
Thank you so much Kirsten and Joerg for another beautiful video. You always make me long to return to England one day. We visited the Cotswolds in 2018 just for the day but it would be lovely to have stayed longer. Best wishes from Australia.
Merci a vous pour cette escapade merveilleuse au pays des antiquites ! Tres plaisante journee passee en votre compagnie et celle des beaux objets ! Vous etes tous deux des personnes d un gout tres sur ! Mille mercis ! 🌹
I absolutely LOVE the houses there! And I go antique shopping, IF ONLY they weren't SO expensive! I would've LOVED to have the second clock you picked out! 💐
Thank you for taking me along! I have always wanted to visit England, and antiquing is just the sort of thing I would like to do. The town, everything is wonderful!
So many lovely antiques! And the pastries in the windows looked scrumptious! You are a bit ahead of Long Island in the progress on Springtime..it was reviving to see those vibrant, colorful, tulips! I hope you two have a Rolly Polly , lovely, week ~ :)
Hello, I love how excited you get Kirsten when you see something you love. You do a wonderful job with your videos and thank you for taking us with you. ❤👍💐
I would be swept away and never want to leave these lovely shops! The music was ever so delightful! Thank you Kirsten and Joerg ....I so enjoyed this video and you two. 🥰👏🏼
Antiques in England, makes me think about how old those actually are compared to here in the states. Ours would have to be family heirlooms to compare to the age of yours. I have just a few items that came over with my German ancestors, a beautiful child's cane hand painted rocker, and my pride and joy, Christmas ornaments. Have a wonderful rest of the week, and a lovely Easter Sunday.
Strolling along these antique shops, must be so exciting. There are so many lovely things to choose from. One could easily spend a small fortune there. Or get lost, so thanks for the tip. 😉
Oh I had a good giggle at the price of the "waste paper bin" - it was lovely though, with its Regency-ish ladies and gentlemen painted on it. That was a really relaxing video only 26 minutes but it felt so leisurely, as if I'd spent the day with you two ❤🤗
Hello to kristen and joerg, this visit is very interressante, there are beautiful furnitures. the hamburgers are good presentation. I don't the birds unhurt the swallows. The houses are very beautiful, yes yes. Bye bye and to tomorow my friends.🕊
You and your husband gives me a peaceful feeling I can,t explain.Your film work and music is just exquisite. You make everything look beautiful .Thankyou for taking us on your journeys.
Oh how lovely. I adore everything!!! I could not even go near one of those hangars, I would have to come out of retirement and work forever. 🤣💜Just gorgeous pieces.
Tetbury needs to be visited again when I haven’t just walked ten miles! The Snooty Fox was the only place we visited on both occasions, loved your video today, thank you as always for a much needed trip out - and those glorious Aubretia at the end.
Oh my! those antique barns were full of treasures! A very inspiring visit with both of you :)) I do hope you get that Swedish Mora clock you admired, if not now, soon....I quite agree they are exquisite and timeless...understated elegance. A real joy to watch and spend time with you🌱🚿this rainy Spring morning....
Kirsten...I would say the same thing!! We have to buy more houses. What wonderful things. You both would be excellent Antique Tour guides...knowing the best places to stay, the shops to go to, the towns to visit. Plus it would be so much fun to go on such a tour with you leading the way.. Just a thought.
Just a lovely trek for me this morning going along with you on these darling adventures that fill my heart with happiness! Yes, mire homes! I don't get out much these days but just love your trip to eateries, cafes, tea houses and beautiful towns, I so look forward to your posts. I must say, you have a beautiful completion. The little trash bin is a bit much ... Just love the clock!
Well, once again, simply lovely, fun & very interesting. I'm checking out a few of the shops I saw in your video, online, as I often do. Because of the two of you, my bucket list continues to grow. Villages you find look like a page out of a timeless book. Honestly, how you find so many quaint and beautiful places,& I still never knew they all existed. Keep up the wonderful work. Just love your videos, your style, your personalities, and you both.
I have always loved the Uk. It would be so awesome to live there and go see everything and just walk around like you do. I doubt that I will get to so thank you for taking me along. It's fun whatever you do..
A real treat ! I got lost in the hangars and Tetbury ! I have to watch it again and again ! Yes, my favourites have always been the antiques not only because they are so artistically made but also because they are unique and bear the stamp of the artist, they are not mass produced. Thank you so much for the trip and enjoy a Happy Easter time !
Oh my! I don’t know how you restrained yourselves….so much to see! Simply gorgeous! Thanks for taking us with you! We never know where we will end up with you two!
How enjoyable and relaxing that day trip was with the two of you. I could spend hours and days in antique shops also. What a lovely little town Tetbury is. How lucky for you to live in such a gorgeous history rich country. Your mirror was a beautiful find. I hope you get your Swedish Mora clock someday soon. Thank you for another wonderful time with the two of you. Take care and stay well.
What a beautiful town. I hope it never changes! I loved the shops, my goodness I could get in trouble there! Thank you for taking me and I know you’ll find that portrait when the time is prefect
Love the Cotswolds - my favourite place with wonderful antique shops. We are staying in a cottage in Bibury for Christmas & New Year (two whole weeks) we can’t wait.
Holy Moly those hangers had beautiful things in there I really like the store you went into that had that beautiful two seater sofa once again thank you for taking us shopping with guys!
Good lord, I would need to plan a month long holiday to visit Tetbury in order to stroll through all the shops. I love love love going to gorgeous antique shops. I usually spend the entire day here in Marietta, GA shopping them all but none of ours here compare to Tetbury. I am so jealous. Beautiful tour.
A beautiful video Kirsten.❤️ The Cotswolds are so very pretty and I love looking at the beautiful houses there. Tetbury’s lovely and I’ve been to the Arboretum lots of times but don’t you find the shops in Tetbury particularly expensive?
I love antiques shopping, here in my area it's very hard to find shops any more. I love your videos, you have a wonderful ear for the accomping music 🎶
Having the Prince of Wales live nearby probably helped this small community grow and thrive. Much like Ballater in the Scottish highlands. When he becomes King it will be even more popular. Love the antiques and tour of this very unique village.
Kirsten, you could make a waste basket similar to the antique one you loved by doing paper mache over a regular bin. You could choose similar pictures to those victorian scenes and it would look lovely and cost very little.
I inherited the bureau from my mother. But its not Swedish its nutwood and probably also antique. I dont recognize the style though. My father wanted to throw it away so I rescued it out of his basement. Dusted it and polished it with a special oil to bring out the shattoyance of the wood. I always loved the antique shops in England. They are so different from those here in Germany. Snd those old houses are so cozy - hygge in Danish.
Thank you, this was such a lovely vlog, the shops, the homes, the antiques. So very lovely. I've never been to the UK and it is my dream. You made me very happy this afternoon.
I think I came upon your channel in December 2020 when I was researching the Cotswolds so to see you back in the Cotswolds is so much fun. This shopping trip was amazing! So much to see in those hangers! And, the village was so quaint. What a wonderful excursion! I hope you get your mirror soon.
Oh! It must have been lovely mooching around all those antique shops, and such a pretty place. I am sure it was a bit over the top, especially when there were so many shops, but what a treat for you both, hope you enjoyed the rest of your day xx
I fall asleep to your voice every evening! Thank you! Love all of your videos so much!!
Today's world is a little tired, battered and bruised but, for a brief moment, you have transported us to "another world" - such a happy escape. I wish I could live in one of those places the way you tour them for us. So quaint and picturesque. Thank you.😊👋🏼💕🇺🇸
Splendid selection of lampshades…so many great antiques in England
Bizarre coincidence: I watched this while demolishing a bar of Highgrove organic milk chocolate bought in Fortnum and Mason in London this weekend!
It must be about 15 years ago that I was last in Tetbury, and yes, I was overwhelmed in the antiques shops too!
Oh what a fun coincidence indeed! We really love Tetbury, our fave place for finding the most exquisite antiques.

I love going Antiquing with you two; it is pure joy, and I do not spend any money, which makes my husband happy. 💜💙

These hangers are loaded with goodies! We love antique shopping and go every chance we get. Very delightful tour and I was wide eyed looking through the antiques 🥰
Yes, if it was warm in there, we could stay a week to check it all out.
This little journey to so many unique and old shops was inspiring. I too love the words “ roly-poly” which of course I learned from Beatrice potter! Antique shops here in my midwestern area won’t have the gorgeous pieces you get there in the UK, but are fun to visit! Have a happy Easter! Antiques in England, makes me think about how old those actually are compared to here in the states. Ours would have to be family heirlooms to compare to the age of yours. What a beautiful town. I hope it never changes! I loved the shops, my goodness I could get in trouble there! Thank you for taking me and I know you’ll find that portrait when the time is prefect
Joerg's burger looks like it has a pretzel bun. Thanks for the lovely antique shopping expedition.
Yes, it did!
Thanks so much!
Oo I love that beautiful bird picture too and the lampshades ,especially the little red one next to the blue. Thanks for taking us shopping!
Ohhhh antiquing amongst the golden streets of the Cotswolds! Nothing better! 🤩
It was such a great day, we had so much fun!
I watch your videos over and over, love them all.It is a routine for me.There is always something that I missed. You both make me feel good each time.
Such a lovely video ❤️. The antiques were absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for sharing your travels with us ❤️
So happy you enjoyed it Ellen!
@@KirstenJoerg it was wonderful ❤️
A beautiful video Kirsten.❤️ The Cotswolds are so very pretty and I love looking at the beautiful houses there. Tetbury’s lovely and I’ve been to the Arboretum lots of times but don’t you find the shops in Tetbury particularly expensive?
Thanks so much! They are on the expensive side but if you're looking for exceptional and really high-quality pieces, they simply don't come cheap.
I love antiques shopping, here in my area it's very hard to find shops any more. I love your videos, you have a wonderful ear for the accomping music 🎶
Thank you so much!
I just adore you two wanderers! Thank you thank you thank you!🙏💕
That means so much to us - thank YOU!
Woww..... Keren yah... 👍👍
Bisa mengunjungi tempat2 yg indah dn unik yg tidak setiap orang bisa datang ksna.... GBU.... 🙏🥰
Having the Prince of Wales live nearby probably helped this small community grow and thrive. Much like Ballater in the Scottish highlands. When he becomes King it will be even more popular. Love the antiques and tour of this very unique village.
I just love going shopping with you guys.....
Let's do it again soon.!!!
Another stunning location. I love your music selection today, it was a perfect accompaniment ❤️
Thanks so much!
Kirsten, you could make a waste basket similar to the antique one you loved by doing paper mache over a regular bin. You could choose similar pictures to those victorian scenes and it would look lovely and cost very little.
Absolutely, we could make a decoupage wastepaper bin, we will see. Initially we were actually looking for a simple wicker bin.
🙋♀️❤🌷🌞You two are such lovely people! Thank you for another delightful outing!
So glad that you have it Stephanie, love a beautiful bureau!
Beautifully displayed quality pieces with character. Inspiring!
Thanks so much!
Thank you, this was such a lovely vlog, the shops, the homes, the antiques. So very lovely. I've never been to the UK and it is my dream. You made me very happy this afternoon.
Thank you so much Francene!
@@KirstenJoerg Your vlog is the highlight of my week. Have a wonderful weekend.
I love looking at all the antiques!
This Antique shop has alot of beautiful items. Lovely pictures too. Top Banana.
I think I came upon your channel in December 2020 when I was researching the Cotswolds so to see you back in the Cotswolds is so much fun. This shopping trip was amazing! So much to see in those hangers! And, the village was so quaint. What a wonderful excursion! I hope you get your mirror soon.
Thank you so much Linda! Yes, we go there on a regular basis as there's always something nice to see.
Oh! It must have been lovely mooching around all those antique shops, and such a pretty place. I am sure it was a bit over the top, especially when there were so many shops, but what a treat for you both, hope you enjoyed the rest of your day xx
It was amazing!

Loved the hangers! I always learn something new with you! Thank you!
