Loved it. How beautiful were the thrillers of the 80s and 90s, good plots, good actors, unexpected stories, full of suspence until the end. Today they make films that are predictable after 5 minutes, they all look alike. I liked the originality of the plot, the love story between the policeman and the protagonist and the happy end. Thank you so much for sharing.

Sorry to say,but most of them now are deadbeat liars trying to manipulate the justice system and be about themselves! Sorry bet that power of a mother b.s. is long gone now,I wish people would get off of that,I'd say the power of our father,God as well as men as dad's. It seems like fathers are always the one's left out as parents until it's a financial situation, women need to wake up and realize that it's not just all about y'all but both parents!!! Think about that, and for the record this is just a lifetime movie!! Were in 2023 not 1996 more men do better as parents!!

Loved this movie. Didn't disappoint at all. It had an unexpected twist, and for some reason, you tend to like the bad guys as well as the good guys. Great cast.

She was my favorite until I met her in person. She acted paranoid and did not want anyone to touch her and she just acted strange. I don't think she was what you would call rude, maybe she was nervous or something.

This movie is EXCELLENT!! You have to watch it a few times to see what you miss along the way. It's so action-packed you miss little details that complete the full picture. I won't spoil this for those yet to view it, it is well worth the watch!!!!

There's a movie on youtube with her in it where she plays the nanny. It's a very good movie, need your tissues ready. I think it's a halmark movie. And another one (also hallmark I think) where she loses her job and goes to an Island in the Caribbean for an HR convention.
Loved this movie. Not a soppy, sentimental story ... had me engrossed from start to finish. Happy ending after all the worrisome experiences.
I wish movies would stop drowning out the dialogue with music that is too loud.

Where I lived at the time near Lake Meredith in Texas, at Christmas time a man and his two young sons were out on the lake when a storm came up. Both and his two young sons drowned. 😢😢

A 4 yr old walking into preschool alone (that's unusual) and sitting in the front seat of a car (that's illegal), but okay, super realistic. Over protective mommy shouts out "car seat!" and "seat belt!" because she really cares...but doesn't notice it's incredibly risky to put her beloved 4 yr old in the front seat of a sedan. mmmkay.
I mean, it was different times. There was a time we didn't even have carseats. Some used to have kids riding in the bed of the pickup too. Times have changed, but it wasn't abnormal back then. 🤷♀️
@M J In the last 90's? They had carseats, seatbelts and front seat laws in the 90's. I was a teenager and I remember my cousins in the car seats and the "buckle up, it's the law" signs. The movie didn't take place in the 40's.

@@melodiefrances3898 Right. My comment is about the movie and the 90's, when laws and practices changed quite a bit from the 80's. I was a kid through the 80's and clearly remember rolling around in the hatchback of our car with no car seat or seatbelts. This movie is set in the 90's. Things were totally different with the advent of car safety technicians, education and laws. This discrepancy made the movie seem a little less well thought out and inaccurate in my opinion.

I know this is just a story but being from South Africa I can not understand how people can live without burglar bars and safety gates, not close curtains at night etc.

Rubbish movie
My kids were born in 1987, thank God there were no car seats laws as I couldn't afford it, also the kids sat in the front sometimes and we didn't bucle up. There was smoking aloud inside the cars full of kids as it was smoking in planes and office. Definitely other times but definitely the movie is realistic for those times and I'm glad now we have more restrictions as it is saving lives.

I must pause this movie and make a quick mention of how the cop love interest is so lame, so unbelievable in his performance and how his hair is getting on my nerves! This movie and it’s actors are insulting.
I watched this because of the stellar reviews, and maybe it's just me, but the movie drained me. Usually a darn good thriller energizes me, but not this one. The camerawork didn't help either.

If my kid & spouse were missing ,yes I’d be out looking for them but I’d have no make-up on ,no hair brushed , no shower, wear same clothes +++ only thing I’d do is brush teeth at red traffic light cause I keep toothbrush- paste in my car

Great movie! 🍿 Just don't like the 90s club music playing in the background around 14:05 when she is extremely upset. Very off-putting. The music should jive with the feelings being portrayed. Club dance music doth not with this scene go. By 15:10, the music suddenly jumps to being appropriate.

I lost interest half way through. I began to not like the wife and how she acts, she is flirty with the detective and he with her. Anyway didn’t finish the movie and didn’t care how it ended.

Yup. She can't even wait to resolve her issues and already she is sleeping around. What is it with these people with these huge itches that they can't do without it for even a short time? One hour into the movie and she is already climbing all over him.

To open a movie with a ridiculously long dream sequence is a very bad sign. We'll see if the rest of the movie is as bad as the screenwriter's imagination. UPDATE: The movie turned out to be great - the stupid dream opening was the only negative in it. Watch it, you'll like it.
