It's so weird when reactors go for the live performances as their first listens. If someone TOLD him to check this version out...why would they do that???
Agreed... I think you really should listen to the album version... The sound levels are WAY off I was going to watch the whole thing but I can't stand the levels. it is not the experience Tool wanted for you. They agonize over the mix and you instead are hearing something recorded by a fan in the audience.
@@alexgrindnshine2522 I completely disagree the audio levels are terrible it was obviously recorded by a fan in the audience without the bands consent. I LOVE being at a live Tool concert but recording that experience is like taking a gourmet dinner to go and putting it in the fridge for a week then microwaving it and saying it is great. Maybe you like it but it is NOT the experience the chef intended.
@@XathexX lol nice analogy. I understand everything you are saying but i personally don’t let that get in the way of my experience of it. I would say 80% of the population would agree with you. But to my benefit I don’t, and because of that this is one of my favorite live recordings of Tool.

Always do the audio from Tool UA-cam channel so it's the best audio and the band gets your support from listening to whatever song from Tool UA-cam channel
Streaming service like Spotify is better audio quality than UA-cam. Tool still gets the royalties. I'm not sure if these 3 are in the UA-cam catalog either.
Yes, Tool should receive the royalties nonetheless. It will recognize the copyright through the sound structure and flag it to the correct publisher. Though it might not always work flawlessly. I don't know that.
@@JeffSparrow87 I mean when you play a song through Spotify they will get the royalties because Spotify obviously tracks what songs are played and how many times they're played. There's no crazy algorithm needed for Spotify. If he plays the song through Spotify on UA-cam, UA-cam will not pay Tool for the music being used or played. Worst case is the audio can get flagged as copyrighted material.
You can do another reaction with the studio versions. All 3 sings run into each other on the same album. This wasn't a horrible recording on what sounds like someone's phone but the studio version will just give you every nuance.
I’m glad you did a live version, Tool is one of the few bands that almost always add extra flair to their music live. IMO this is the only way to listen to Tool
I thought there was something wrong with my buds! Besides listening to the studio version of this, do the whole lp. from the Grudge on it tells a whole band’s story. Even Ticks and Leeches before getting back into it.
This is live, that's the cheering you are hearing. These versions are good, but you should really hear the album versions... The moon itself is a satellite. Anything that revolves around a central object is a satellite, it doesn't just mean something technological.
oh no...a live version! You need to listen to the studio version to get the proper production and engineering. This live version is like listening to it with cotton in your ears.
The holy trinity is what I listen to when I meditate and do yoga. It's the perfect length to clear your mind and allow some clarity to come through. This live version is good, but the studio version is much better.
Just listen to the studio recordings. You don't even have to react on camera. Just put out the lights, light some incense and be in the music. Then tell us your thoughts.
Please do not do live versions for your reactions. Tool puts a massive amount of energy getting the mix right for there official audio... when you propagate phone recording live performances it ignores all that effort. I was excited for this video but I thought my headphones were broken because of the AWFUL audio mix... then I heard the crowd. I will not continue to listen after 10 mins I am done.

Lol totally agree

Agree. I think some people get lost in their own sauce.
Maybe like 1% I would suggest the live version 1st. Even then, most the good ones are curated for a recoding or video.
Check out the studio versions, your soul will thank you!
Yes the audio quality of this version pretty much sucked
Agreed audio is crap I couldn't finish the song... I got to reflection and wanted to vomit.
Awww man, this was disappointing. Please react to their studio versions. This is a masterpiece and considered their magnum opus by many.
Lol i was the one who donated i didnt ask him to react to the live version but i also didnt specify so thats my bad :( . But great reaction though.
This live version is better then the studio version.

Not your fault, I would always assume someone would do the official audio.

@@alexgrindnshine2522 Respect👍I appreciate that everyone has their own experience truly glad you enjoy!

I’ve been loving your tool reactions. Keep it up #ToolArmy.
Thanks! Will do!

I find the studio version even more spiritual,
Check it out.

You gots to listen to the studio version. No pesky cheers to confuse ya. 🌀
I am at disposition but there is something wrong with the sound. I don't know if its edited or live but definetely different from album version.
Its hard to listen this version when you know how intricate and thoughtful the original sound of this.
This is because it is a live version recorded on someones phone.
The audio quality is so cringe!
Edit: glad I stuck it out though. The live take on Triad was worth it.
the fact that TOOL is so impressive that you didn’t even notice it as slide til the end of Reflection is amazing 😂

Bro, studio versions first, with no video! That is THE WAY lol 🤣
I’ll add on to what so many others said. It absolutely should have been the studio version!!
To me reflection is someone on the jouney through nihilism, seeing the void and moving to a place of hope

I love Tool, but not fan audio from a live show
This live version is so good, Adams guitar steals the show for me
This live version is actually great. Don’t mind the close minded 👍 the chanting in Reflection is a plus! Great reaction as usual. Long live Tool
Ur listening 2 A live version....!! Greatnessssss
