You're comparing apples to oranges. The Seatylock chain is less than 7mm thick vs the Kryptonite FAHGETTABOUDIT at 14mm. More than double the thickness. Thew Seatylock is Sold Secure Silver rated. The Kryptonite is Gold. If you're looking to secure an expensive "target" bicycle, the best is the only way, and as stated, this is not for that purpose.
A 5k ebike is going to be targeted before most other bike on the street. The higher Sold Secure rating, the more a lock can endure. Personally in your circumstances, i wouldn't opt for anything less than Sold Secure Diamond and would most likely opt for the Litelok X1 or Hiplok D1000
Well done review, thanks

Why would silver not be good for my 5k ebike? If they can get in this cant they get in the Fahgettaboudit just as easy?

@reodds I've watched a lot of videos and they can cut that 14 mm in like 30 seconds depending on your diamond wheel and grinder.
Perhaps hardness/strength of chain steel links is relevent .. along with link thickness dimension... Just cutting is not definitive.. steel harness
We hope to introduce hardness testing once we have the resource able to afford the testing equipment.
