The game normally crashes except for some enemy’s but if you change the files you can make the game think cyberspace is open zone which lets you do attacks and have all guardians

Midnight Luna made an update so it works with Update 3 now! I put the link in the description. The spin dash effects don't 100% look right, but it looks nice enough with the red and black effects.

These mods just show that Sega isn't fully trying to make sonic games fun anymore. With the deadlines and rushing they give Sonic Team and it's sad of how corporate gaming companies are nowadays.

To me it feels like they tried with Frontiers, but the budget was quite tight. I mean there's alot of fun to be found in Frontiers but there's just tons of missed opportunities which we see with mods.
Hopefully with Sonic Team's bigger team now, the next game will expand greatly on Frontiers.
