- I was absolutely blown away by the Giganto boss fight in Sonic Frontiers and was inspired to re-animate the fight myself in blender! This took around 5 months to fully complete (1 of which I spent on rendering alone lmao) and had many iterations with many different rips/remakes of kronos and the battle area.
Im so happy to have this done and I believe this is some of my best work, I hope you all enjoy!

This was a great animation. I like how expressive Sonic was in this and the overall lighting effects and choreography were done well. It makes sense that Super Sonic canonically would struggle against the Titans since they themselves were created from the power of the chaos emeralds to originally fight and seal The End away in Cyberspace.
This is EPIC, and amazing
5 months, no wonder theres no animations out there- it was worth it!
HOLY HECK, I LOVE everything about this, the old sounds, the referencesto moves(was hoping we'd get his cyloop special hidden effects of sending Giganto FLYING, but lol giganto still got wrecked, 11/10 ...well, 11/9 xD

This is just so amazing. Even though we have absolutely destroyed Giganto without him even touching us in mere seconds, this animation shows how it would go cannonly to Sonic's strength back then

Good 3D Animation
James_179 you have so good animations like for real they are the best
Not bad, but I have my critiques on this piece. for starters, never stop animating the models and stop them mid animation. Giganto is a character that holds a lot of weight and friction. Maybe for future reference maybe study movies like the recent monster-verse of godzilla, and try figure out how they captured his movements, and apply them to giganto's movements.
same could be said for sonic as well, but his movements are much different. I think he needed more weight and effects to feel like he was over powered. The feeling I got was I watching an action figure fighting a life size giant toy.
Bottom line try to study more body movements, and apply them to future tests.
As for this animation, its not bad for a first time, but improvement is needed for the future. So good job on this.

Great job on this. I like how Sage was literally watching the whole thing! But the lighting for Giganto was on point. But the lighting for Sage and Super Sonic was a little bit off... Sonic's shoes had absolutely no glow to them at all. But they had a little bit of reflection which is totally fine. I like how Giganto fought. But... the movements didn't look all that natural at certain points in the animation. Like at the beginning when he lifted his leg to mash in the ground. Only a few of Sonic's movements looked a bit unnatural to me, but most of his movements, you've actually nailed. You're just missing those little adjustment to make Sonic feel over powered. Besides Sonic and Giganto's few unnatural movements and Giganto seeming to be as light as a feather in some cases, this was the only animated Frontiers fight I've seen so far and definitely is a good animation. It's not the best, but it's not bad. I'd say it's mid and that's not bad.

Perfect, the whole fight was amazing and the ending was spectacular! The ending with Sage and the blurred BG was also nicely done. The hype train for this was fun and I'm glad I was here (fashionably late) to see the full thing! Great Job Man!
