@@Mgameing123 Before when the branch up to Stanmore was a part of the Met in 1933 it used to stop at all stations between Finchley Road and Wembley Park. And also it doesn't really make sense for it to stop at any stations between Finchley Road and Wembley Park anymore because than there is no point of the Jubilee's branch up to Stanmore. The Met basically serves as a express service between Finchley Road and Wembley Park.
Love these race type comparisons!!
Same
Yeah just like the district and Piccadilly line trains
I LOVE THESE RACES I’ve been searching for this for so long
thanks, nice videos :) I really like Jubillee
Good video!
in acceleration, the 1996 stock outspeeds the s stock but it outspeeds the 1973 stock when you see them race at Hammersmith
anything can outspeed the 73 stock, things about 50 years old
@@misterko3354what about the 1972 stock?
@@ashleyjiscool yeah probably not tbf
The distance between Finchley Road and West Hampstead looks further apart than it looks like in real life to me.
I saw the central v Hammersmith and city line and district line at mile end
Nice!
@@UndergroundEnthusiast yeah
Where there 4 trains on both sides!
when vtec kicks in
Jubilee line just rushin, metropolitan taking its time
I wanted to see the station which the Jubi was slowing for (and which the Met just storms through).
nice!
Thank you!

IMPOSSIBLE!!!! HOW ARE YA GAINING SPEEEED?!
did they whistle back at each other to race?
This is at Wembley Park
@ztar I'm honestly horrendous at finding stations it was literally on the sign how did i not see
Finchley road?
Yes
Jubilee is faster than metropolitan even though metropolitan line a pass station
to be fair though, the jubilee line train had a head start plus it also runs off of ATO which i don't think the metropolitan has yet.
The jubilee line is slower just a better acceleration
The jubilee has a smaller surface area, meaning less weight to carry, which helps it accelerate so quickly too!
@@UndergroundEnthusiast yeah but metropolitan line is a bit faster due to speed limits and it’s also my fav line in general
@@orig1nalfn91 metropolitan line is not my favourite line due to 30% of it line outside of london
0:12
they had beef by horn
Pffff if only it didn't stop at West Hampstead
Lol
Yeah!
@@UndergroundEnthusiast the met diserves a stop at west hampsted just due to the fact its a major interchange to avoid central london
@@Mgameing123 it used to stop, you can tell by the platforms
