Evolution is such a tale of beauty and horror, the earth cleansing itself by external or internal forces yet conceiving new life out of the depth of oceans and ashes, brings tears to my eyes.
Once upon a time, life did not sustain itself on oxygen, and there was little oxygen in the atmosphere. At some point, some of these life forms learned photosynthesis and execreted too much oxygen, and the atmosphere soon grew too dense with oxygen. Because of its toxic nature, nearly all lifeforms on Earth died, except for the very few mutations that sustained itself on oxygen. Those very few mutations survived and propagated - and those few soon became the ancestors for all of us including humans. That event is called the Great Oxidation Event. We speak of the apocalypse all the time in myths; those that already happened such as the Great Flood or those soon to come such as the Ragnaork. Does mankind know that an apocalypse with similar poetic parallel has already happened with scientific verification in a scale we cannot even imagine - something that completely changed how life itself functions? I dedicate this song to the anaerobics that sacrificed and paved way, so that we aerobics could survive and thrive.
This is beautiful. I know it's been 12 years, but if you are there by some chance, I would love if you could make some more of the EVO soundtrack. Ocean of Origin would be a great one.
Unfortunately I think it was a one off event where a professional orchestra played a bunch of classic game music. I'm just glad this gem made it in there because the game never saw the kind of popularity it deserved.
@@RoyFlush716 EVO is an amazing game, I wish it had got more recognition. Sometimes I wish they would make a remake, but only if it was done well and stayed faithful to the source material.
Author, is there any way I can possibly get my hands on this piece? The MP3 anyway? I'm attempting to track down the "Game Music Concert 2", but not having much luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Same with this djent metal guitar scene this should be brought to liking here and now. If I have to do it I will try or get eaten \m/ atleast I tried...when I do ..I must or I'll rust to hells design. A lost cause..like many. Nothing to stand for
Imagining the baby dino being shielded by its mother from the meteors... ;_;
This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my life.
