Goat Format is really diverse when you dive into it. Rather than being pinned to an archetype, you have the freedom to build and design around whatever theme you please. I built a cool water themed deck the other day that used Salvage, Umi, and Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness as it's main strategy and Levia-Dragon - Daedalus as it's boss monster for good measure. Totally low tier, but when pitted against a deck of equal power a lot of fun to play. Goat Format is at it's best when people play creative decks against each other and tune them accordingly.
@Belgianidiot yup, BLS and CED were designed to be the best cards in the game from the start, and Konami knew it. Ban BLS, put Chaos Sorcerer at 1, and knock Solemn Judgment down to 2, and you'd have a much more balanced experience. Goat exists as legacy anyway, so really the banlist shouldn't be universal, but instead differ on a tournament to tournament basis. That, would draw many more people to the format I think.
Love seeing low tier decks instead of all the try hard top tier decks.

Imagine Goat Format with bls banned and Chaos Sorcerer at 1 or 2. No more Chaos Control, a lot more variety.

Dark zombies in Goat format are way stronger than earth zombies, so we do not have that many good earth zombie monsters at our disposal, unfortunately
