I really like these more casual vlog style videos of a gr corolla. It feels more personal than all the main car review channels. Glad i found your channel keep up the good work
Que, you had 600+ hp cars and now you have a 300 hp car so you totally prove that its more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow! Keep progressing brother and many blessings!
@QueTheChaotic bro. I only had fast beasts last 10 years. BMW M6, tuned S550 Mustang Mach 1 etc. You know which cars I missed? My 1997 or 1996 Integra GSR. Those fast beasts were hard to push on the street and very heavy feeling.
@QueTheChaotic Woohoo! First of many! Glad I could be part of history :D Have tons of fun with that GR...I doubt that'll be a struggle tho, looks like raw fun!
So funny, I'm like, where have I seen this guy - I was watching your camaro 1LE video last week... and now you've bought a GR, and now I gotta watch your type s video! My GR circuit edition is coming this week, at MSRP. Still questioning if I'd rather have the CTR, type S, or get an expensive car again... but hard to beat msrp. 100% on the same page with you as far as power levels on the street. Everyone gets on a progression of more powerful cars (myself included), but having a VERY powerful car is like a caged animal - you can never truly have fun, unless you're on the track. I like the idea of just a cheaper, fun car, that can be totally exploited on the street, and doesn't take itself too serious. Going back to basics with what makes a car fun to me. Great video.
@@QueTheChaotic should have said it before, the MBRP is either 2 tips in the middle or one on each side. They have both systems out. The MagnaFlow has 4 tips!!!! Two center and one each side. I think the center exit MBRP would be the lightweight winner and it sounds really good.
After 25 years of racing and modding all sorts of cars, my fave car is GR86 (I Turo'ed one). Why? Coz its fun to wring out everyday SPORTS CAR and in track, ramps, canyon, commute. This looks AMAZING too, RALLY CAR one car do it all. Kids, snow, track, rallycross, rain, canyons, grocery, interstate travel, everything except rock crawling lol. On small PS4 (not even PS4S) tires you driving this COROLLA faster around turns on day 2 than your huge wide tires ZL1 AND SS1LE.
Great video man I can tell that you really enjoyed the driving portion of it, I cant wait to see it in person, I wonder how we'd do at the track in the quarter mile.... 👀
Mannn that trunk space shocked me based on how big the car look but I enjoyed how you walk thru the car and everything. I can’t wait to see what you do with that exhaust with MRT 😎!
Que you should do a muffler delete bro so we all know what they sound like with it done! Thanks man, love the car saving for a GR Corolla in the near future myself. What an amazing car in every single way 😍
I ended up getting rid of my 2023 Integra Aspec for a 2023 Subaru BRZ. I loved the Acura but I wanted something more "fun" and I am young with no kids or anything so might as well enjoy a coupe while I can. The type S is too overpriced in my opinion, I would have loved to have gotten one but over 50k for a 320hp car with not as many luxury features as competitors is a no go for me. The GR Corolla is a sick car but I can't get over the styling, it just ain't for me but still a dope car and hope you enjoy it.
@QueTheChaotic I originally went for a GR86 as well but ran into the same issues but was able to get a deal I couldn't walk away from on a BRZ and I don't regret it at all
I mean interior, yes - Its a Corolla but with the Markups and special edition I think thats where the guy was coming from. Base 35k, absolutely! Wouldnt complain at all, 40k eh... once you hit 45-50k for a circuit then it becomes real hard to swallow the interior vs the competition. Maxing what you get for your dollar should be top priority and the GR at higher prices just doesnt do it for me.
I understand your logic. Most of the other competitors have a nicer interior. The civic and golf have a nice interior in base form. I don’t think any Corolla has a great interior.
Most of the core trims within 200 miles of me are priced at 47-52k, used! Msrp is 35k but good luck finding anything close to that before Toyota discontinue s this car due to "low sales". These dealers are killing car sales
@@diallo1347 I like to save those listings, Ive only seen one sell so far. Wild enough, most of the used ones seem to start mid June and have not sold but havent really decreased in price either. If they have a carfax attached, I also see they were "dealer" vehicles in March and have been sitting on different lots since. Dunno, maybe dealers wanted to get away from selling at MSRP and turned them into used cars by bouncing them around then jacking up the price.

Any ideas what the km reading under the fuel gauge? Had my GRC for 4 weeks, but not yet got through the 600 mile break in. I think swapping out the Pilot Sport 4 for an eco tire, this car could slide more, but the grip is awesome.
@@QueTheChaotic I have not worked out what it is or how to switch to mph, may check a forum. Continue enjoying the GRC but not sure how you are decide between the GRC and the Type S for a weekend drive (flip a coin?), but nice problem to have!
You should easily beat your Integra times on the track with this car. I can’t believe how it’s so hard to lose grip around the curves. You should name it “the glove.” Lol
Car needs some color. Needs some POP . To much black on black inside and out in my humble opinion. Red interior like the Integra had would liven things up !

I love my GR Corolla too. I'm surprised at the low end power and in a fraction of a second the power is there as the tach sweeps to 7k rpm! I personally could care less about the small back seat since rarely will anyone be in my backseat. I added an armrest and just fixed the iMT issue. Check out my channel for videos! Beautiful car but it looks uncomfortable to sit in the back. I can only imagine what your child is feeling over those Michigan bumps. You should ask your wife to test out the back seat for a short ride.

With the amount of cars you’ve gone through in the past year, you could have just stuck with the Camaro or m2 and enjoyed and modded those instead of swapping so many times.
