@dh1realgaming795 I'm a long-time viewer of magnus. The reason why that's so impressive is that Eddie is the world's strongest man, and he said his back is his strongest, which means that since Magnus matched him Magnus's back is equal to the world's strongest back.
You realize Eddie is also, and over double Magnus's weight too, right?

i know the feels of seeing food you can't have ... i have had to cut a ton of food types from my diet and it sucks hard bacon is one of them .. (all pork i cannot have)...
I want to start training like Eddie, not to be strong, just so I have an excuse to eat all that food.

Really hope Eddie sees this, these food videos have massively helped me with my eating disorder and weight gain journey as I watch them whilst I eat, and over the past 6months I’ve gone from being 47kg to 52.5kg, thank you Eddie ❤
Keep it up and good on this being a source of motivation. My sister suffered with an eating disorder as a teenager and still has some quirks when it comes to food but she fundamentally eats health and looks after herself (see's now 52 and is a mother of 3 wonderful adult aged men now).

Eddie’s swimming ability for a man of his size is amazing. I know he is a swimmer but it’s still impressive.
For real everyone was impressed by Magnus keeping up with him in the gym, but Eddie passing him in the water was crazier to me!

Man, this little guy is a real beast with his back strength and his grip power is also enormous. He is not one of the absolute climbing elite for nothing.
I love Magnus to bits but saying he's "one of the absolute climbing elites" is a bit of a stretch. He's not a particularly outstanding climber within the professional scene.
@@trkpador7988 Just because you're not top 50 doesnt degrade the fact someone might be in the top 2000ish. Top few thousand at anything is elite.

Mad how much grip strength helps out when it comes to lifting weight, massively underrated
The worst part is a lot of times your lifting potential is hampered by grip strength. Use lifting wraps for back that way you get 110%
@@BronzedBeast but using lifting straps too much can result in your grip strength falling behind, there's pros and cons
@@mr.100rupees3if you use straps on heavy lifts your forearms still get worked on the lighter ones

The main thing that impressed me was Magnus was quick enough to keep up with Eddie's patter and dish it back out, really dry humour but plays the straight man to Eddie really well

being able to do 130+kg lat pulldowns for reps at 70kg bodyweight is just insane
Magnus pulling the full stack would be the same as Eddie pulling 350kg, and doing 140 on each side is FOUR times Magnuses bodyweight fml. Thats like Eddie doing 700
It doesn't scale like that, it gets easier the smaller you are like Magnus said. A dung beetle can lift over 1000 times its body weight, but a grizzly can only lift 0.8 times its body weight.

Love these videos, because it gets very inspiring. You can do anything! Go this way or that way, but it’s hard work. Both different I. Routine and eating dietary, you guys are amazing and I’m just amazed by both of you both.
The mutual respect and Eddie being comfortable enough to not try ‘big man’ Magnus, whilst also acknowledging Magnus’ insane achievements is why Eddie is so relatable and likeable.

Super Video. Love the fact that Eddie commends Magnus on his insane strength. Its a sort of humble vs humble, both Eddie and Magnus are insanely strong. Despite going to the gym and having a 1500 pound 3 weight total, my wife is not impressed with my lifting prowess at home as she says I never lift a fking finger around the house. This is just semantics as my gym gear is in the garage!

After watchig this i quit my gym and bought some climbing gear not gonna lie.
It's a pretty good full workout. It also builds practical strength and endurance. The only thing that is somewhat missing is a leg workout.
@@johannes.f.r. that is true, Magnus was even saying that some hardcore climbers will spend time in a wheel chair to reduce the weight of their legs o.O
@@louismarina7225Lol show me him saying that. Having strong legs is such and advantage for climbing. Plenty of climbs that need leg strength haha sorry unless I see receipts I'm not buying this. As a climber, it sounds madness
@@SkyeEyeSightings If you look up the video titled "World's Strongest Man VS Rock Climbing" on Magnus' channel, he does mention this at around the 4:16 mark. Though to be fair, Magnus also says he doesn't know if the story is true 😂

Ive been waiting for this video for years!!!! I love both of these men so much for all of the achievements they've made throughout their lives and for the fact that theyve shared so much of the journey with us all. Ive been getting into fight training for fitness in my home due to agoraphobia keeping me from working out. I will say one thing, if i were in the ring with Eddie making those noises, id shit my pants and throwup and cry.😂😂😂

Eddie is genuinely looking good & sharp in the ring now for his level of experience etc, to see him against somebody who is untrained just shows you the difference between your average Joe on the street and a trained fighter, and obviously there is people leagues above Eddie also who have been boxing or other forms of combat sports all their lives, hats off to both blokes.

Never herd of this magnus dude but respect to him for trying to do Eddie’s diet. Lol. Plus black pudding is freaking awesome. I live in America and whenever I can get it, I always get a bunch of it. My dad was born in Ireland, but he gave that stuff to me as a kid. Always got it at the Irish Village in Boston. It tastes, so good it really does. If you never tried it, you should.
