  • Mysterious ABANDONED Farmhouse In The Middle Of Nowhere With Everything Left Behind. Explore #99
    Incredible location! I pretty much consider this a time capsule house. This property is very large. Classic cars and old farm equipment are spread out across the property slowly rotting away. This was once a working farm with a standing barn but has now collapsed. The house was left with everything left behind. Over the years people have ransacked the abandoned house looking for valuable treasures. With the information found in the house I believe it was build in the early 1920's. It has been abandoned for at least 12 years. Looking up the names found in the house it is a mystery who they were, when and why they left. I'm thinking they have passed away years ago with no family to clean out the house and property.

    About me:
    I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
    My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
    If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

    Some of these videos (like this one) are actually kind of sad. Thank you for being so respectful. Not only by never taking anything, but also never making a smart remark. These videos are often the story of lives that did not come to a happy end and it’s appreciated that you give the subject the dignity they deserve. Congratulations on closing in on 100-thousand subs!

    For me seeing the dentures laying there was so sad. There’s just somethings that are private. Why do families let these places go.
    Thanks Brent for going out and filming these old places for us.👍🏻

      Big place like that is very expensive to maintain and pay taxes on it. They need to be sold right after the owners pass away….before they start to deteriorate but that doesn’t always happen when the owners have no relatives or the property hasn’t been kept up. Sometimes a developer will buy it and leave it to rot away until they’re ready to knock it down and develop the land.

    • @MadGrubble
      @MadGrubble Рік тому

      @@penelopelopez8296 why do people leave all their stuff behind? doesn't the family care at all? I would never just abandon all my parents things to rot.

    • @Wonton1885
      @Wonton1885 Рік тому

      @@MadGrubble Most of the time it’s because the owner doesn’t have a will and families end up in court fighting for ownership of the house and it’s contents. This can last for years.

    I grew up in a farm family, on a dairy farm in Ontario. I absolutely love that you do so many farm houses, reminds me of my grandparents home growing up. Your cinematic shots at the end really got me 🥺😓 cool explore!

      I still live in my family farm house here in West Virginia , the farm wasn't too big , just the normal animals sitting on just under 14 acres of land , mostly hill but the cattle loved it , I got the family farm after my grand parents died , it was something that I always want to own since I was a little kid but now that I have it , it's falling down around me , it seems like when they died , they took the spirit of the house with them and the sad thing is that I don't have the money to repair everything that's wrong with it , so it looks like I'm going to have to sell it sometime soon , I had planned on leaving the US soon after I sell it , as you probably already know that this country is going to Hell in a hand basket ,,,, I will miss my family home though

    Wow... thanks for sharing. I come across houses like these but am afraid of exploring them on my own, as a female... Your videos always leave me with so much to think about... Who was the first person to notice that the last occupant wasn't around anymore... and then what made them think it would be ok to go into the property to scavenge or steal? What were all the people who trashed the place thinking if all they wanted was something to steal? why destroy the last evidence of a person or family's life? I wish photos at least, legally had to be kept in cases like these, for historical reasons. That was a big house, with a huge and interesting lot.

    Incredible stuff. I once lived in a place just like this back in the mid '80's in southern Ontario, very eerie!
    Like you, I am absolutely enthralled by these types of time capsules. When you see all of the material things within the house and out, it's so easy to imagine the history that took place. Everything you see was brand new at once and each item has a story to it. Just amazing! I am retired and I want to do this type of exploring. Any tips on how and where to get started would be greatly appreciated. I absolutely love your channel, it's brilliant!

    Growing up my summers were spent hiking and exploring abandoned homes with my dad. I remember every single one had been ransacked like this one, some within months of being vacated.

      I watched a couple of young newbies to exploration…sort and clean the entire house up! They tried to put stuff back where it went and swept the floors, made the beds…lol…used dirty bedclothes…but that was ok…set stuff back on tables, put things in drawers, then fast timed it and showed before and after. Just lime the yard clean ups! Then after all filmed and done, secured the house as best they could and left….very interesting. They would also pause and show you interesting things. I would lime to se more of this type of video.

    Why do people have to ransack other people's possessions?? I know it's been left empty for a while but if it your house (or by the looks of it a home) and you were a UA-cam fan wouldn't you be heartbroken to see what thoughtless thieves and vandals had done to the family home!!!!

    Time Capsule Farm Houses are my favorite
    And it’s not really damaged and graffiti, so you can still imagine what it was like
    Makes me wonder if the lady passed away first and hubby was left … probably never even went upstairs.
    Was there a bedroom on the main floor?
    The one bed with the blankets pulled back looks like someone had a nap
    A person could think what happened all day.
    Thanks. Great find Mr. Brent
    I also liked the music 🎶
    Have a good week

      It is such a strange, and somewhat haunting thought to think that the covers were left just like that, the last time the resident got out of bed, and then they never returned. Or much more mundane things like plates stacked in the cupboard; that they were probably stacked like that at one point by the resident and have been sitting just like that ever since.

Upstairs I spotted an antique baby crib with spindles. I'm sure I could find some treasures. What happens to a house when people die and there are no relatives to take over the property? Just subscribed a couple of weeks ago and have been watching as many videos as I can. Those vintage vehicles rusting away is pretty sad along with some of those materials inside.

    Another great explore! Hard to believe this was once a family home... really makes you wonder what happened/ why the possessions weren't collected. The doll was a bit freaky. I might have wanted to leave that behind 😝. Too bad about the dog 💩 at the end there 😂.

    I find it hard to believe that it’s only been 12 years since it was abandoned, unless that just means no claim of ownership. There is nothing in there that looks modern. Everything reminds me of when I was a young kid. If people were stealing stuff they clearly didn’t know what to take. I’ll never understand how these places just go to waste. Doesn’t the government jump on them once they realize that the taxes aren’t being paid? Then sell off the property? Bah! What do I know?
