Love your braids! With all the videos I've watched on braiding ideas, it never occurred to me to find out how to lay down my 4c frizz. I'm going with the moisturizing, gel, then tie it down while it's still damp. I'm sure it'll look better than it does now.
Midwest luv you have to maintain it correctly. There’s no point in spending 30+ dollars for a week of painful braids. They don’t even get to loosen up yet.
Can someone tell me what the mousse does for the braids/hair? Won't your natural hair start curling up and getting fuzzy because of the wet mousse? I don't understand this concept and I wanna try it but I don't want my natural hair to start popping out the braid.
I dont use gel cause it flakes up, I wet a wash cloth, and just wash in between my braids and spray it with pride and wrap it up and when I am ready, I take the scarf off and work.
I have the same exact style its only been a week and its frizzy...I'm definitely gonna get that anti itch spray i actually bought two different brands but the itching is still crazy..thanks for the tips your hair still looks good
I’ve had knotless braids for 2 months and I unplaited yesterday. For me personally knotless braids last me long, I actually only took them off because some fell off while I was washing them in the shower. I’m now going to do conrow braids. Gonna try to kee them in for more than 4 weeks.
I have box braids and got them done 2 days ago. I wrap my hair every night and the top of my hair is still looking pretty fresh, but towards the ends, it's frizzy. Is this normal?
Why y’all always dislike the video that’s why they say like The video not dislike it if you know you’re going to dislike the video then just leave and don’t say nothing at all and if you know that you’re not gonna put a nice, don’t say nothing at all.
Good morning How long do you wear your braids? I’m going on 4 weeks & my scalp is screaming at me. I grew up wearing braids for 3 months. (I grew up poor) so I’m use to this but I want to take better care of myself & my hair so I’m thinking redoing my hair every 3 weeks is a good start. Just wanted some insight from you on what’s recommended.
I was wondering if these products would work on Hispanic/Latino hair as well ? My daughters love to have their hair braided but I have to take them out within a few days bc it's super frizzy and fuzzy and they have curly hair as well.
Cute!!! How often do you put all those products on your braids? I will need to try this because braids are not cheap and would like to keep them in at least 3 weeks at the most.
Yes, definitely. You should wash your hair once a week to prevent buildup or once every 2 weeks if you think your hair will frizz. For some reason, my son has a better curl pattern than my daughter and I but his hair Frizzell faster. Also, he won't wear a cap at night. We don't put extensions in his hair, though.
Thank you! You were funny,to the point and I was going crazy trying to figure out how to keep my daughters braids maintained after I braid her hair, she is such a heavy sleeper and her cap comes off every night! I just end up redoing her braids once a week, which She gets irritated with lol.ibalso really l be you don't cuss in your because she loves youtube and this can be something she can watch and get excited about keeping up with her hair too! Thank you!
Peacd. When i used to put any extension braids; even (sew-is)weaves in my hair and maybe longer than 4 wks, i clean my scalp with sea breeze or witch hazel 1 to 2 weeks. Depending on the width or thickess of braids and even (sew-ins)weaves., I washed my hair.. I have to. I love clean hair. The thinner box braids would get washed. I used to do my own braid styles and my extensions never came out becuse I always braided with 3 strands. My hair stayed nice. You won't know until you've tried it. Peace
How often do you do this, and have you noticed that once you take your braids out that your actual hair has that sticky product build up and it's hard to separate..I'm not sure if that's mainly w single box braids, I had that b4 and it was a headache to separate.
Lakeisha Rome before you put the hair in your head you need to put it in apple cider vinegar then shampoo and air dry. Dry shampoo for braids and wild growth
Lakeisha Rome 🤔 well I know what you mean mine does too a little bit but only at night. I usually put my portable drier on it and the itch goes away from the heat but nothing really helps
Etemi W Your hairs always gonna be itchy, especially when more of your scalp is exposed like with braids... there’s no preventative measures bc it will itch either way lmao
I feel like box braids is much easier to defrizz & maintain, in contrast to cornrows. I used 100 dollars for it & if I wash it it just gets frizzy and looks WORN .
Hi guys I am 11 bout to turn 12 and I am white, so I have different hair, but my cousin got black kids so she had to learn how to do hair and I asked her to do my hair and she did cornrows on the side. Now I went to sleep with a bandana on but in the middle of the night it came off lol. So it still looks good but it’s looks more frizzy now. I have Strate blonde hair, so idk if this will work. Thank you. And btw no hate be yourself if anyone says anything about me being white and have cornrows go back home and take a nap grumpy head..lol.
CUB._. LUV Gel would work ..trick is braids must be done securely and with a creme /gel to keep straight /fine textured hairs in place . if done professionally stylist would seat you under the dryer to set .
Which brand scarf do you have? I noticed that you tied it in the back? Your hair is really pretty by the way. This video helps me a lot because I have dry scalp issues and I needed to know how to moisturize while wearing braids, so thank you!
Try soaking your head in some apple cider vinegar, the kenakelon hair is probably irritating your scalp. then put some witch hazel on your head afterwards. THen follow her video and tie it all down...
Girl u said like a 2nd grader who had a rough school day. Lmao Take care of your finger. Thanks 4 the tips

How long do ppl usually keep their braids in? I usually keep mine in for a month.
I usually do 4-6 weeks. I aim for 2 months though especially if it's box braids or other individuals
I can only have braids for a week , my hair is too frizzy
@@CintiaVsTia same here. I keep mine for 4-6 weeks

Thanks so much, I just had my hair braided for the first time in about 10+ years and you're explanation of product and what to do is the best 😍🥰 👌😀
Hi I literally got my braids done yesterday and my roots are already frizzing! Do you have any tips?
Kenny Anibaba wow that shouldn't have happened so soon. You may need to add some gel or something with a hold and wrap your hair with a scarf.
Wrap ur hair at night
Wrap your hair or find a new stylist. They shouldn’t be frizzy already no matter what kind of hair you have.
@@JazzyRachel mines to but if I put gel on my hair it will curl up
@Itzz a'Nyah Mine happens 4 days after no matter if I wrap my hair or not.
I dont use gel cause it flakes up, I wet a wash cloth, and just wash in between my braids and spray it with pride and wrap it up and when I am ready, I take the scarf off and work.

Great video! People need to take care of their braids cause it take too long to get done and cost too much money.
I mean I didn't even think you were wearing much at first it's so natural. Just love it lol

You can soak the braiding hair in apple cider vinegar before you get it don’t let and that helps a lot
How often do you do the routine? Daily? Or week? Or mid week?
Super helpful tips! These look really good two weeks in.
How does the silk keep it neat compared to normal fabric?

I didn't have that problem. washed right out.
If you clean the hair before you get it put in it won't be itchy
Etemi W Mine is always freshly washed and mine still starts to itch by the second day
Lakeisha Rome before you put the hair in your head you need to put it in apple cider vinegar then shampoo and air dry. Dry shampoo for braids and wild growth
Etemi W Tried it. My hair just itches when its braided. 🤷🏾

S Hill I’ve had it for years. Might be Sally’s tho. Because I know it’s wasn’t a neighborhood beauty supply store.

What do I do if I have been scratching my head a lot and there is almost a lot of hair sticking up
Jasmine Afankwah you probably need to take it down.

She's pretty✨☺️
Did it work for any of y'all ?
