I strive for 3-4 months since it's alot of effort to put the style in and take it down, it also maximizes hair retention. I also secure the new growth w rubber bands ever 1.5 months so they look neat!
I’ve probably gone close to 3 months before, but 2 months is usually my cut off. Thanks for the tips girl! I need to go wash mine now!
This video came at the perfect time! I have knotless braids in right now and I’m a new mommy so anything to help my braids stay in longer is extremely helpful!
Your braids look amazing! You're a very beautiful, humble woman! Thanks for sharing! Blessings! 💜
This video was so helpful. I utilized it on tonight and my scalp feels so refreshed. Thank you for sharing. I followed it step by step. Blessings 🙏🏾🩷
They are looking still looking beautiful, I keep mine in 3 month's top. Plus I dye my gray hair and shampoo after I do that..but generally 1 time every month. And they were heavy when wet😱..as you. Said..Thanks for the tip!! You look gorgeous!
Mousse is def a game changer. Thanks for the reminder!
I love this video!! Great tips your braids look beautiful!! Looking forward to more!! ❤
Didnt realize I had my knotless in 4 weeks now and i see the white build up gonna try this now👍🏽
I remember wearing braids for 3 months in high school but those were box braids. For some reason no one wants to do box braids anymore. Knotless braids I was only able to do 5 weeks
I so miss your videos, I always go back and look at her older videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved your video. You explained and got right to the point. Some videos just go on and on til the very end. I ain’t got time for that!
Great tip! 6-8 weeks for me ❤️
love it! this video is so helpful and so needed xxx
Great Video Fash. You kept the maintenance on your braids up good. They do not look old at all. Oh your Braider is the Bomb !!!! I saw that mousse in Walmart and passed right on by it. Shoulda grabbed a bottle.
I've worn braids for 3 months plus. I had my hair pinned in a bun. I used Proclaim oil sheen that worked well with keeping the scalp itch down.
Thanks Fash ... I needed this video in my life😍🤩
She's GORGEOUSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Game changer with mouse !! They def look good to have i for 2 months
wow you look so pretty 😭
I need to try this💕💕💕
Your braids look so good. I’m thinking about getting some faux locks or braids soon. ❤️
So do you do this process every night or just when your about to wash your hair?thanks for the tips. Love this video❤
I regularly wear my hair in braids for close to 3 months
Heyyy Fash, can we do this with Knotless braids as well ?
Perfect timing. I learned how to do knotless recently and am looking for care routines to nurture my hair😊😊😊
Greetings to all viewers, from Upper Canada. 🦅
Hi 👋🏼. Beautiful braids and great video. What is the brand of the mousse?
I’m going to get Box Braids soon and your vid was very helpful to advise what products to use throughout wear. Do you do this process weekly?
I’ve pushed it to 6 months but I had no idea what I was doing and lost a lot of hair and my edges 🤦🏿♀️ now 4 weeks and I’m refreshing at least the front, sides, back and middle
How often should I do this wash to keep them fresh? And how often should I do the mousse?
How often do u wash your braids? Weekly, bi weekly? Also my daughter has 3C hair and how do I moisturize the scalp daily without loosening the root and it frizzing
Is mousse ok? Is it ok to put avocado oil on the scalp every few days. My adult daughter keeps telling me don’t put nothing on her hair or scalp whatsoever. But I have that exact same mousse ur using. Just confused cuz ur putting on the moisturizer and others are telling me don’t put nothings at all
Didn't even get a notification on ur videos😏
How often did you do this when you kept them in 2 months? I've never washed my hair while having braids. Was always too afraid it'll make my hair frizzy too soon. I keep them in 2 months also. During that time I grease 1-2xs a week with the blue sulfur 8 and use the sulfur 8 braid spray about 3xs a week.
Thanks
How did you do that???😮
Anytime I shampoo with braids, my hair gets frizzy but yours still look like you braided them the previous night 😂
U so pretty
Hi! How often do you do this?
How often did you do this routine? :)
I just wash mines in the sink or shower. I even dye my grays with my braids in. I oil and moisturize and, give it a full day to dry. Then, i touch up some braids. And redip my ends!
3 mos no more than 4 because II use to braid have ...so I would touch it up alot. So my hair wouldn't lock up!
Hi, please when do start doing this? Is it after a month or any time you start seeing frizzies
3 1/2 months for braids. Do you mind sharing your braider?
My braids could last but the thing with me is that my hair get hard knots , even though while having my braids I’m not using heavy products.
I’m not paying $175 just to keep my braids in for two months these braids are going for the long-haul and I’ll be wearing these braids for four months!😂
$175 sheesh that is a steel. I'm getting braids for the 1st time in 14 years & ai haven't found anyone under $285!
Two or three months
Hi. I am in the Atlanta area and looking for a good braider. May I have her Instagram? I keep my braids in for 8-10 weeks.
Yeah two months if I'm lucky. Who did your braids?
Honey, you are beautiful with your forehead😍
My scalp sensitive and I think my beauty supply sold me some fraud products. Got sore itch scalp and 1 month in my hair looking like 5 months.
I aint never!!!🤬
6weeks
5weeks at most
3 months easy for me ! My scalp isn’t problematic, I use a braid cleanser on a baby wipe to keep my scalp clean , I may use some dry shampoo on the actual braids, spray some leave-in, oil and mousse or setting (foam)lotion. When I’m home my hair is always is a scarf , my braids look GREAT the entire time i have them , I get my moneys worth 😁
I never thought about using setting foam thank you
@@crystalgreen5975 you’re welcome ! I find it to have less alcohol than mousse, so it doesn’t dry my hair out
Same!
Same, 3 months minimum if you paid a lot for them
Thank you! That tip save $140 for me I was almost getting the braids out😂😂
