Echo CS-5000 Blasting through Peach Wood

Just an old CS-5000 still going after being run over and crushed by a tree, plus thousands of hours of operation.

just picked one up for my forest service business. have mostly stihl, but an echo trim saw has worked out well

I am amazed how much abuse that CS5000 takes! Although one more mishap and I'll have to probably spend some money on it.

Sadly, I did sharpen it, by hand with a guide and it started out great... these peach trees are over 50 years old - hell on that poor chain! This was towards the end of that tank of gas.

Haha, was thinking very same. Nothing but fine sawdust. But it was running nice and capable of much more. One of those oldie but goodie saws!
