would you ever use just the tone curve instead of the sliders in the basic panel. seems like it would be a fun way to edit and its more visual than just sliders
Trent, I use the tone curve all the time but was not aware of the target adjustment tool. Using it creates a much more subtle change to the image and I will use it in future. I feel I am back in college but this time as a student!..... I'm an old guy but I like learning new tricks! Much appreciated. : )

With all due respect you might be working backwards. Point curve first and then Parametric curve second for fine adjustments.
