Very cool to learn more about Alex Skolnick! Thanks for this video! I have a fond memory of jamming on "Hot for Teacher" with Alex Skolnick at a Z Brothers party in Borough Park maybe about 10 years ago! :)
Glad to hear Mojo picked up this interview... more people need to learn what we already know about Mr Skolnick. Major influence for sure. And listening to him, he is very humble... but well educated. never thought of Randy and Eddy mixed together then played in Thrash... interesting.
I wonder what that conversation was like in regards to the video. No! I want belly dancers! Belly dancers! Yeah those girls who girate their hips! And I want to crash through the wall!
Who?? Nah just kidding man. saw Annihilator with Testament and Wrathchild America in 89. All the bands kicked ass! Waters is good but he’s nowhere near as versatile as AS...this guy can work in so many styles
Alex Skolnick and Marty Friedman , these guys write perfect and memorable metal solos
And Criss Olivia
Jeff Waters also. He has some killer riffs
One of my favorite musicians. Alex is great.

ALEX IS A LEGEND!
How have I never seen this? Alex is absolutely my favorite artist.
The song is Bollywood Jam by Alex Skolnick Trio from the album VERITAS
joe satriani makes a lot of thrashers
It's kind of ironic how many of Joe's students went on to greatness.
The mark of true musician; playing for the MUSIC, not for the INSTRUMENT.
The guitar work on the song The Ballad is just pure sweet genius.
Unbelievable how satriani churned out all these great players
Arguably the most technical thrash metal guitarists of his era
Jesus did everyone take lessons and live a block away from joe satriani?
Skolnick is just awesome. 'Nuff said.
I want to see an Alex skolnick and Danny Carey Jazz band tour
Alex Skolnick Trio - Bollywood Jam (according to shazam)
I'm just here for the hot interviewer.
Gotta love Skolnick!
TESTAMENT!!!!! :D
Testament.
That's all that needs to be said. 🤘
Every time Alex looks down during the interview, you know he's checking her skirt/legs out.
Im ready to hear skolnick overplay!
You can't go wrong with a few girls dancing. :P Anyway, great musician, very original and skilled.
More candles please
satch is a master

I am thinking that one of the belly dancer's is Alex's ex wife? Could be wrong.
