I teach using just one of many accents in the world. Please only learn it if you like it and if you are interested in learning it. I do not believe there is one “correct” accent or manner of pronunciation and I fully encourage EFL/ESL learners to expose themselves to as many varieties of English around the world to become accustomed to the beautiful variations of this world language. I focus mostly on teaching “Modern RP” (I may just say “RP” in my older videos, but to clarify, I do specifically mean “Modern RP”), however, you will hear a lovely little Yorkshire twang to my accent from time to time too. Please LOVE and BE PROUD of your accent. After all, it is part of your identity and makes you unique. 💚

I understand "assimilation" and I am conscious of it and able to"use" it while I am reading in English for example. But when I speak to people I forget about it 😳 and fall back to trying to pronounce every sound. 😂
Do you have any tips on how to practise in order to use "assimilation" more naturally?
Thanks again and best regards from 🇲🇽.

Emma you very much first reading speaking and pronunciation.i'm new student here but I love your videos.it's really really very much amazing.thank you so much Emma.
As a foreign speaker I've leaned towards and learnt to use US accent, but as a lot of people do - I love British accents - all of them pretty much. Regarding assimilation - I always think of Brits pronouncing the word DRAWER in at least some accents, and in some of the US - ASK being pronounced as AKS. Not really an assimilation - but I love it )
Super & great teacher explaining each & every word so clearly
