What lost of traction... Video creator size is largely a semi controlled via topic coverage and/or by Channel age. Like these are Niche audience Just as your channel is never going to super large your a niche of niche. Most of the declines arent a "chudpocalypse" its the fandoms ticking in apathy state. Its not even worth dumping on them because there not even competition anymore. Like your Ip is in such a destroyed state that not even Positive or Neatitive coverage is profitable, people just dont care about the ip anymore.

For a long time I felt people like these are genuinely contributing to the decline of cinema as a whole by giving unnecessary extra publicity to bigger blockbusters (oftentimes from Disney, because they can't make anything else), and based on how they let movies like Morbius and The Marvels flop in comparison to their predecessors like Venom and Captain Marvel it seems like at least some of them learned their lesson.
The skeptic in me sees this as less of a “Chudpocalypse” and more of a “Chudnarok,” and ending and a beginning. Some of these channels will die out, others will survive and change, but there will always be some people who make things not as enjoyable as they should be.

They also masscared my favourite character galadriel, who was portrayed way better in the BOOKS. rhey also turned elrond from a powerful, smart & resourceful leader to simply a wimp. the only parts of that shit-show, I liked were Halbrand's (Sauron) arc, From a unknown outcast from the south, to the rebel hero against the orc military base in southlands, to the Rightful king of the southlands, & finally the reveal of the secret villain, the Great deceiver, hiding in plain sight all along & Adar's journey to fight & find a home for his children. other than that I don't find any other of their video criticism valid or productive, just a rant-show of endless screaming, gurgling & whining because they put something in the show, that goes against their beliefs, such as Lgbt or feminism

Tyrone Magnus made a whole 10 minute video basically telling us he won't take his girl to Disneyland for her birthday. A place she has always wanted to go because Disney is woke. Something they literally could've talked about themselves but couldn't resist the need to grift. Won't take your girl to Disneyland because it's woke but will buy tickets to Disney movies and keep the Disney plus subscription to make reviews on their shows just to whine about how everything is woke to appease your audience. My favorite part is where Jeremy pretty exposes everybody for not actually carrying about One Piece and by proxy anime/manga in general.
Because Instead of, oh I don't know, give recommendations to specific series, do discussions on recent industry news, releasing weekly reviews of current on-going series, instead they just bring it up whenever it's relevant to their narrative, and when they do it's only to talk about how anti-woke it is, even though if you do watch anime/manga then you then it's actually super woke by their own definition (there is literally two whole genres dedicated to gay romance)

Of course. Won't bore you by sharing my personal list, but if someone asked me to put together a list of my 10 favorite movies, I'd struggle mightily to narrow it down to just 10. If I was asked to make a list of the 10 worst movies I've ever seen, I'd probably have to stretch just to get it to 10. Why. Cause I hated them, so that meant I only saw them the once, and never bothered to think about them again. This whole practice of dwelling non stop on the entertainment that they don't enjoy is so unnatural that one can only assume it's inauthentic.

I'm old, so I was a teen in 2010 when I first saw the 70 minute red letter media review of the phantom menace. I was a kid, naive about everything including movies, and I'd say that that review explained things about movies that I didn't already understanding, and broaded my knowledge about movies in general.
Just saying "Rey could instantly pilot the Falcon. BOOOOOOO" doesn't teach anyone anything. There's no practical explanation why Rey piloting the falcon which she's never piloted before is more of a reach than Luke instantly being a good X wing pilot in the original star wars.

Did it ever have meaning to begin with? I mean, it's super weird that it's become so loud. "Woke" ideology has been entering media since the late 60s, and we heard a lot of this crap back then, too. The difference here, though, is that none of these guys believe the crap they spew. It quite literally is an outrage grift. Take GTA 6's trailer, for example. How many of these chuds hold San Andreas in high regard? It immediately opens with a "woke" scene depicting police racism and abuse of power. The whole game basically has "ACAB" as its message. This is beautiful to witness. I figured their grift is on a downward trend because as more media becomes "woke," their complaints will just seem sillier. While there are a few examples of media where the heavy-handed politics makes it worse (2019 Black Christmas and Supergirl come to mind), calling everything under the sun woke just cheapens the term. @@TurfNationYT Yeah tbh I'm always chagrined at something like the Star Wars sequel trilogy getting drawn into these arguments over wokeness given it's not even about diversity or representation in the same fashion as something like Get Out, Black Panther, Crazy Rich Asians, Captain Marvel, Birds of Prey, or Black Widow. Maybe it's because I'm not white but I typically don't even really pay attention to the race or gender breakdowns of movie casts - or at the very least don't dwell on it much since I'm more concerned with how a movie works as a movie than its cultural impact.

Also, look at how many times one of their predictions blew up in their faces. Avatar Way of Water, Barbie, and the Little Mermaid did well, it spectacular, and the grifters didn't know how to respond.

Most of the marvel movie after end game have been terrible and most fail in the box office but its not because they change that character race are they put a woman in the main cast. Its bad writing and poor planning before most marvel movies had a overarching narrative and they all feel connected and well thought out but now they are all money grab poorly written and mediocre. Tell me any movies in phase4 who you will put in your top 5. And you think is as good as the one that come before.

The nostalgia and fans of Barbie growing up made that movie successful. Children hated it and was bored watching it. It was feminist propaganda and the favorite character was a man. As someone who writes and creates art, this is a fascinating look into the lives of people I would never want to be on any platform. You're highlighting exactly what I've suspected out of these types for years now. These UA-camrs are not critics, and certainly not creators. They are rage propogators who have gamed an algorithm using outrage as a way to cultivate an audience, and outside of that outrage, none of them have any identity of their own. When that fades, just what are they left with? Really wouldn't want to be them when they day comes.

But the difference is, most movies back then didn’t really focus too much on the message. They had a reasonable balance. When it comes to this stuff, they should never say this is good or this is bad, what they should have said next time is: this is, and let the viewers decide for their own. Gets them truly thinking.
My mom always said, when it comes to entertainment, there are always those in the crowd who will “ruin everything,” and it’s important to find the LEAST offensive route as possible. Like “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.” That and as much as I am against it, jumping on SOME trends that comes with a decade. For example: 2000s had high fantasy movies like the Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings franchise, 2010s had the MCU’s Infinity Saga and Superhero movies, and now this decade has video game & anime movies, and animation.

When I recently viewed many videos calling out the toxic fans on their rubbish, like the Critical Drinker for example, I thought it they were all insightful. My God, I know G+G had said lot of harmful things in his videos and he's generally not that nice of a guy, but seeing literally everyone gang up on him in the Friday Night Tights without a shred of remorse still felt kinda awful to watch. Jeremy looked like he sincerely did wanna talk about One Piece or the FNAF movie because it looked like it was something he genuinely did enjoy. The way he was quickly shut down by everyone felt very disorienting.
I mean, it's also a little funny because as we all know G+G isn't innocent from the grift. He's most likely made a lot of money off of it too and has contributed to hateful toxic rhetoric and causes. You don't have to be psychic to see the inexperienced Obaid-Chinoy has a very small chance of making a good Star Wars movie and that it will lose a lot of money for disney.

here's what I think, if you want to be anti woke or woke, go right ahead and be one it's a free country just make sure you're creative with your content because making videos where you basically just bitch and moan as an M.O can only entertain for about anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 days max before it gets boring and stale, personally I was raised with the mentality that if you don't like something then get off your ass and do something about it.
I can tell you exactly why they have been losing subs and views… half have been faking it and knew it’s a good payday (I.E. tucker Carlson liking Trump on air and hating Trump behind closed doors), or they got lost in their own sauce and can’t help but just hate everything. Knights watch is a prime example as I just recently unsubbed. Their newest vid, on the video game awards, they didn’t watch the show. Or rather, they watched to see how “woke” they have. Made fun of dudes who wore nail polish or calling Alan wake “a woke game” but didn’t specify how (I can guess how but I ain’t gonna accuse with no facts), I believe that they truly got lost in their rhetoric.
The reason being, because like geeks and gamers and heel vs baby face and the drunk guy, they were right on this issue for a while. You had Netflix rewriting history, culture, and race switching, you had the classics like Snow White and made her black, these are examples of the left going too far. There is such thing as going to far right or too far left, or even just being too neutral is a problem.
Have to find the right balance in everything that you do. Much like, you can be pro gun, but there’s a point of, your too pro gun. Or if your democrat or republican, and you listen to only what your color flag is on and ignore the rest. You can get lost. They were right for a while, but not everything is woke. Heck, look up the definition of woke, it doesn’t mean what you think it means.
I agree with most of what you're saying here, because while I do think they have been overexagerating since the beginning, I definitely agree that there was a way better argument. Diversity and representation in media isn't always portrayed well, and sometimes it does affect the writing, and that fine to point out. Its no coincidence that this channels most popular video is the one covering the most popular anti-woke channel, Critical Drinker.

I don't really understand the "grifting" criticism people make about these channels. So, what if they are not autisticly interested in every piece of entertainment? Most media commentators aren't. Are you grifting if you talk about these people and don't care about them?

Interesting that at least one of these folks is complaining about how they're not talking about the FNAF movie. Yeah, it did really well at the box office and there's a plan for at least two more Five Nights films. I thought the movie was great I'd love to see more of these grifters exposing themselves.
As an audience member, the problem with anti-woke content regardless of your political views is how utterly exhausting it is and the types of people it brings into the comment section. The tone of the videos are not just angry, but profoundly ignorant of the media they talk about and the industry they're in. If you listen to an anti-woke outrage merchant long enough, you'll eventually catch them on bullshit; my personal favorite example was Sargon of Akkad and friends complaining about Wolfenstein being an anti-Nazi game with anti-Nazi adverts. And even if you don't catch on immediately, you're in the comment sections just riling each other up and waiting for the so called horrible event the outrage merchants are selling you, much like Doomsday cults, they'll keep pushing the date until you either die or get bored. Until then, you keep giving them money and attention that could've gone into your own hobbies.
Another reason why it's exhausting is because I think a lot of the people who are engaged with this shit understand this is not really things most people or even most fans care about. So you can't really talk about it at the park or school without being that "weird person who rants about Larson or Kennedy all the time" or getting a ton of pushback because the average person isn't perfect about it but they can smell bullshit and pushback against it. You end up putting yourself in a weird spot because you're basically isolating yourself over fucking movies and games.
And honestly, the anti-woke outrage merchant fans are also equally insufferable, they just can't get themselves out of their state of anger long enough to realize that what they are being sold on doesn't really matter or they are just being lied to. They just live in this world of evil queer woke people ruining everything and nothing you can say will change that for them. They'll insult you or attack you but never really listen.
I'm glad that there's a drop in interest but UA-cam does play a major role in this too. They could've nuked people like The Quartering long time ago, they could've done some serious damage to Gamergate all those years ago by shutting down channels that where posting misinfo about women and queer people in the gaming space. Where was UA-cam when there was these Internet Bloodsport streams where a lot of right-wing/fascist content creators made names for themselves? Why does it seem like reporting hateful channels doesn't really do anything?
honestly i think a great example of how the tides have changed is the UA-cam channel diesel patches before his content Appealed to the Anti woke crowed but now his channel takes a more nuance prospective despite still being the same content format and he is being rewarded by changing to it I have no idea if this was on purpose he has changed what he believes in the past but I think its Actually got to do with changing tides people who watch these channels are growing up to change to more critical prospective and the content creators need to evolve to it to not be forgotten

While they have fair criticisms about the turgid slop we are presented with as entertainment these days, it becomes tiresome as being your whole gimmick. I will say The Drinker at least gives praise when it's due and doesn't only highlight the negative, but it's definitely his bread and butter. But overall I grew pretty tired of all this crap after a certain point. Just got boring. If I already know something sucks, I really don't need hours and hours of explanation about why, especially when it's pretty much always the same predictable reasons. Just feels lazy and repetitive.

I don't always agree with him but I think he at least attempts to be fair for the most part. But it's kind of hard to take him or any of these others seriously when bitching about this stuff has become their whole brand.
