The automated transmission, you say the brake lock system will keep a 145 thousand pound truck from rolling backwards when starting from a stop up hill. When have you ever hauled that much weight? I know first hand that when hauling 80 thousand pounds when fully loaded, the truck will roll backwards depending upond how steep the grade/hill is that you are trying to start rolling from a start.

Why is the idea of just like driving a car in the truck such a good thing? I am driving a truck not a car. Keep all that fancy Electronics junk in your Mercedes and not my truck. And keep all those switches off the steering wheel! When backing up into tight situations, hands end up touching the wheel switches accidentally causing the settings and or radio controls to be changed, causing the driver to be distracted when he needs to be concentrating on what he is doing. Also when I am driving for hours and miles at a time, my hands are all over the wheel to eliminate boredom and fatigue. With those switches in the middle of the steering wheel, there is no place to but my hands on the middle of the wheel. Something managers don't understand as they don't drive their fancy cars for more than a few minutes at a time.
Whoever gets that truck…have fun changing fuel filters every 12-15k, radar/ACC cant tell if its a car or an overpass shadow and slams on the brakes without warning, digital dashes freezes up and only fox os to disconnect batteries, transmission faults that force you to shut off the truck in the middle of afternoon traffic. Yeah, but hey at least its pretty.
