Nita's go to patch in a previous video is called "Shred Lead" its around patch number 30-36 (somewhere there) it's one of the better gig ready patches! Give it a try! :)
Zoom 505 owners in the comments will always say that Fractal or Line 6 is better. But a lot of people on the gear forums who had experience with these modellers say that the GT-1000 sounds better than Helix and can compete with AX8. Some even compare this unit to the real tube amps in terms of feel. Probably because the GT-1000 has the least input lag amongst the modern modellers (according to Leo Gibson's test).
I recently learned the trick of using a low pass filter in the global settings to roll off the very high end frequencies and I think it improves the sound on all digital modellers, making the sound less harsh and more natural (if an overdriven valve amp can ever be thought of as "natural"...). It may have been something to do with the YT processes or my headphones but some of the sounds here were a little harsh and maybe could do with something similar. Not a criticism of Boss but a general observation on digital modellers across the range.
Totally had the same experience when I had a Helix for 2 years, and played it exclusively through headphones. I made sure every preset didn’t have frequencies above ~12khz and below ~45hz. Cleans were fine though - I actually liked crystal-clear cleans with a very broad frequency range.
@@soulcage6228 I am actually using both. It still strikes me as odd that "low pass" covers frequencies up 8 to 10 kHz but rolling off the frequencies above that does avoid some very harsh harmonics. At the other end I roll off anything below 120 Hz to tighten up the bottom end. That is the low cut. Running into a guitar amp will gave a very similar effect but I recently started playing around with a direct line into a speaker or into my computer for recording. Why this isn't built in to the amp and cab modelling I don't know but I have found many cases of others doing the same.
She's great. And yes, Boss is a brilliant company. There is simply no denying how beneficial their pedals are for guitarists. When I buy one of these super pedal systems it will be a GT, not an Ax Fx or Helix, as they are just too fake sounding, in part because they try to emulate already existing amps and I can hear the difference. The GT is its own thing. They have their own take on a JCM, Soldano, Recto, Fender, etc. And that's what I like. They simply aim to get the best sounds they can and that's the right approach. I love my Marshall, but I know tube amps are going to be more of a garage band and studio sort of thing, especially when you consider what pedals can do these days. I remember back in the 80s when solid state was nothing like it is today, and yet you were always hearing about the solid-state revolution that was always just around the corner. Well, it's here, and it came in the form of pedals.
I've got both the GT-1000 and the GT-1000core and when you put the time in to craft your tone and fine your best IR, you get something unique to YOU. I love it! :)
You can do as the options are seemingly infinite. I've set 5 tones that I use most so I can always pick up and play, and then save experimenting with other tones for when I am in that mood. The tones I've set are Clean, Clean Wet, Crunch, Hi-Gain and Hi-Gain Lead.

one video of the boss gt-1000 core wasn't enough 2 videos is even better by Nita Strauss excellent presentation! Nita explains all the features of the gt-1000 core like she made and design it, pure expertise that was instrumental in my purchase of this boss product thanks for making the second video.
I’m going to pass on this. It doesn’t sound very good direct into the interface. I’m sure it sounds better through the PA. You should have recorded that way.

@@soulcage6228 My gear is Line 6 so it may be different for yours. Next time I get it fired I will check and come back.
That is a sharp sounding pedal...tad pricey fer us more mortals tho.
Boss is very innovative , Nita Strauss one of the best Guitarists

I just purchased the pedal and it sounds awesome. Nita had me sold on the last video she did on the boss pedal.
Funky Rhythm w/ more gain = Zakk Wylde main tone.
HX Stomp competitor. Good stuff! I haven't had a chance to try one of these, but I really want to.
It's a great piece of kit, I've had my GT1000 for over a year now , and dont forget its bluetooth to.
This was already awesome with Nita and the pedal, but when that synth effect was used, I drifted away to my Happy Gilmore happy place.

for home playing do you think the core is enough or I should spend extra money for the big one
JaredGunstonTV Does it sound better than bias fx and all the other ones?
@@Pat78 Rather get the big GT1000 used, it's nice to have all the extras and switches + pedal.
Why would you need want both
Oh my gosh. A proper(?)ly clothed female guitarist in youtube. At last...
And what would you consider a properly clothed male guitarist?

Buy a second head rush to make the output stereo.
Awesome ,just wondering can I connect the core to my RC300 ?
I really love how she play. I love the music/sound. Its impressive!
It Look Like Zoom 505 on Maximum
Love that old video of her and her fantastic cans playing The Trooper.
Bruuuuhhhh 💀
Why Boss don't give an application on ios or android ? I don't want to start my PC to manage GT1000 core.
Nita 💢💗😃🎼🎸🎸💞🎼🎸🎸
That woman inspires me to be a better player....she is SO REAL.
Hi, nice presentation! I'm definitely going for this processor now. Thanks that you confirmed my choice!

Doesn't even compare to Fractal. Half the plugin modelers sound better than this. Sorry Boss. Like your stomp pedals but this isn't very good.

Sounds like shit haha don't know what people are listening too. Never going to replace an amp
A fractal is three times the price is a fractal three times better sound? No
