- As requested, here’s my video on how to gain voting points through the Oramond and Rathleton quests. All of the tasks I talk about in this video are pretty easy to do and what I would recommend for anyone looking to get access to all of Oramond. To gain access to the Underground Glooth Factory, you need 300 points, and the highest requirement is 500 points for the Hero of Rathleton quest. Enjoy!

A good possible idea for the Communications task is to lure all the monsters to somewhere further north and trap them there with fire, after you go out of their targeting range their AI will deactivate after a minute or so and so long as no one goes near them they will stay up there once the fire disappears. With this you won't be getting distracted keeping fire walls up or dealing with the monsters and instead can concentrate on just doing the task, of course trapping the monsters can be risky thing to do (especially for a mage) and it's only effective if no one goes close to them. I've done it like this twice myself in over 2 Communication task grinding sessions on my then 270~ RP without any problems (they stayed lured both sessions), I don't know how much time it actually saved me (took 50-60 seconds per task) but I really liked not having to deal with the monsters or fire walls.
I always assumed they would walk back to their spawn points, but if this actually works then that's a really good idea.
They do keep trying to path back for about a minute (I think it was a minute), after that period they stop trying to path find until someone comes back into range of them which also applies to people on the immediate floors above/below. So the key is to make sure the monsters will stay trapped for that period of time.
It is a really useful technique for some places to get rid of unwanted monsters in the area, I've most commonly done it in the Pits of Inferno main room to trap the Blightwalkers/Plaguesmiths/Phantasms down south in the 3x Hellfire room and they never come back up unless you go down into the hallway.

I always do the ancient sewer task for oramond :< I made like 20 voting points in 30 minutes - pair it with taking out the rot, luring the glooth golems and devourers in rooms beneath NPC elliot and youre good to go.

You have to say "exchange" to Doubleday.

The shortcuts are slime slides in certain spawns that teleport you back to town. If you go to the east Minotaur spawn and up the staircase in the middle you'll see one of the slides that can teleport you if your world voted for it.
isnt it easier and faster(instasnt) to farm the 300points to get access to bandits and then just buy bandits capsules untill you reach 500 points? i think at most its 1.5kk of investment is super worth vs of hours of farming points
Why do you censor the voting points? We all can see that it says 130 points and 1491

Where do you exchange your things from the communication breakdown?
You give the flask to Doubleday. He's upstairs in one of the center buildings.
The glooth golem is annoying downstairs. He runs over the fire.........
You cannot pick up roots that other people have left behind.

Head to the Rathleton Magistrate, upstairs to the east of the depot, and talk to Marvin about a "topic". Then you can choose what you want to spend your points on.

dude i already got 300 points, killing bandits and get about 1k capsulsed which i converted into good once, but i brought 10 capsules to Elbert and can't brought anymore? why??

Not sure if that spawn is good for EKs. I know RPs sometimes hunt it though.
I used to spend half year there hunting by my paladin, EK is also possible if done properly, just wanted to know if you'd try to make that kind of tricky video :)
I could try, but I don't think it'd be good on my EK (113). I'd have to spam health potions because my healing is so low ;/. Maybe if I had more health so I could heal in between Warlocks.
