I bought the gun metallic SR Premium last month with the black wheels, coming from a 2016 Altima SR. My Altima wasn't fully loaded. Space inside the Sentra and trunk is almost the same size as the Altima. Great commuter, rides smooth, and excellent on gas. I can get a full tank with $25-$30 with a 400+ mile range. Can't beat that! I got mine for almost $25,000 even. You can get them a couple thousand cheaper now. I'm beginning to see more 2024 Sentras and Versas on the roads now. What's crazy is that the Premium Sentra comes more equipped than the highest Altima trim. You forgot the SOS (911) call button. BTW, the CVT is newer Nissan's are very reliable compared to many years ago and hardly any issues. My old 2016 Altima with 133,000 miles never had CVT issues because I followed all maintenance schedules. Back then CVT first fliuid change was a 55,000-60,0000 miles. Another key is driving any car with a CVT with care, and not gassing it and driving it like it's a race car.
Excellent review! I've seen a ton of Sentra reviews, even from big name UA-camrs. I'll say this, you're the only one that mentioned Nissan's CVT are more reliable than they were in the past, and fixed that issue. You also stated getting the car serviced every 30,000 miles, others didn't really mention. Most said "lifetime powertrain" warranty is included. Another key thing you touched on was how the CVT is very smooth and doesn't make that annoying whining noise as I call it. You're absolutely correct. I test drove one a few days ago just for fun. I have a 2018 Sentra SR and I can tell you even in park that whine is annoying. Fun fact : If you look the number of national sales between the 2024 Altima and Sentra, sales declined for Altima purchases, while Sentra is the top purchased car between the 2. If you think about it, it's a tad smaller than the Altima with a smaller engine and fuel tank.
@ I think the Sentra is the sharpest looking car in its segment, but I went with the Jetta for a little more leg room in the back (I have kids) and a bit more hp and torque.

I got mine recently for 25,200. It's a pretty decent car. Sucks to hear that they are selling for a lot cheaper now.
@@aquilaingridmeulio9415yeah I know! We could've got ours even cheaper!
