Iggy also left the nuggets because there George Karl apparently was trying to get some of the warriors players hurt during the game.
everything is fair war
Make a part two add WADE to the list. WADE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HEAT LIFER.
They did him dirty after he took hella paycuts. He didnt get the treatment Dirk and Kobe got.
Fill me in if im wrong!
Didn’t realize leaving in free agency not requesting a trade at any point was a snake move lol
It’s America. We love kissing a Billionaire’s ass.
Just like KD’s move, Iggy’s move ain’t no snake move
1) what rule says a player can’t sign with a team that beat them in the playoffs??
2) how is a FREE AGENT a snake? You LITERALLY have the right to sign with ANY team you want 😂
You play TO WIN not be fair to the league lol
players who resign or sign extensions then request a trade while still under contract are the real snakes
damn thats crazy u call out fisher like that, this is the guy who left his 10 month old daughter after cancer surgery to suit up for the jazz vs GS, how many people would do that. so fucked up
The Celtics got hit with karma after trading IT when Kyrie left for the Nets.
IT gave it his all for the Celtics. Playing through injury and at the same time dealing with the death of his sister. They fked him over badly.
Why did they push IT so hard? Were they trying to win a ring? But they had no veterans desperate for a ring
LeBron going to Miami was never considered a "snake move", people were just upset of the spectacle he made over his free agency dission
It was actually the Warriors that drafted Vince, not the Raptors.
If I was Thomas I would sue the Celtics
Derek Fisher is sick in the head if he used his daughter like that
He didn't. LA just had better facilities to take care of said daughter. Anyone salty about this (especially the Magic Fans) need to let it go, because the Jazz fans understood.
But L.A. didn't have better facilities.
The University of Utah and the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Utah are recognized worldwide as some of the very best in treating cancer which if I remember Correctly, is the condition his daughter had. Some sort of eye cancer.
Fisher rejoined the lakers before Gasol arrived. So he didn’t sign with a championship team at all. If anything he went to a worse team than Utah who had just made the WCF.
Don’t know why people have such an issue with Lebron leaving Cleveland the first year and I’m even a Cavs fan. Sure I was pissed at first but the front office failed to surround him with legit role players for 7 years so I get it. I personally don’t care that it was televised. It had good intentions but we all know it shouldn’t have happened live. I remember deployed being like fuuuuuuuck, we lost him…
The bull's failed Jordan till they got pippen and plus didn't the Cavs got Kyrie and almost got Wiggins 🤷🏾♂️.
@@LarryDonnell-sd7rv a difference of the culture at the time, MJ's competition was homegrown, while lebron's was the big 3 Celtics and the Kobe-pau Lakers
Also, say what you will about Jerry Krause, but that guy was competent, unlike the Cavs front office, look at what they got from 3 first picks and one second pick, kyrie, Dion waiters, Anthony Bennett and Wiggins (who didn't contribute to winning basketball until his 4th season, still a major letdown, considering the MJ comparisons when he entered the draft)
@@LarryDonnell-sd7rvRemind everyone WHEN the Cavs got Kyrie. After LeBron first left and they were garbage. They got great picks because they sucked without him. When he was there, the best he got was Mo Williams and Ilgauskas.
Y’all slander Melo cause he never won a ring and in the same breath discredit Kevin Durant for going to Golden State when Melo could’ve went to Miami with Bron and didn’t. Safe to say Melo made the right move cause y’all don’t know what y’all want from these players.
Can’t even watch this video. Born and raised a Laker fan but definitely not a Lebron fan. You failed to mention the racist cavs owner. Smh
Please share...where did the K kicks say they would match whatever up to a billion???? If you show me that quote by a Knicks front office person...I'll gift u $25.
The Rockets offered him a balloon payment on his 3rd year that they knew the Knicks wouldn't match. And then you say "it shows the Knicks didn't believe in his free agent value"...u forgot to mention THEY WERE RIGHT and he ended up doing absolutely nothing after that month with the Knicks. Do better research.
How could the Celtics possibly trade IT to the greatest player ever, smh!
Your take on Fischer spot on.
watching y’all vids and seeing that y’all speak like media personel 😂😂
So you are a snake if you leave a team who lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs and whose second best player is Mo Williams😬🤨😂
Mo Williams was an allstar that year. He shot 44% from 3 on 5 attempts a game in 2009. He had 18 points on 47/44/91 splits. Not standing for this Mo William hate. He was one of the best second options that year.
@@SackVegasAnimei hate when people said Williams was a allstar like he was the first choice
He was the last resort cuz the other players were hurt
@@raelindsey8456 I hate when casuals don't know what they are talking about. Trying to put together a BS narrative. Both him and a 33 yr old Antawn Jamison were averaging 15 ppg as the 2nd and 3rd option on 44% and 48% FG. Keep making excuses. AI carried the Sixers to the Finals in '01 with way less against tougher competition.
And they had the audacity, to sign ERIC SNOW. I would have left too.
Finally some real talk about the lack of honor in the nba
No i think from andy hoops or some other on Andre told Mark Jackson when he coach GSW they tried to hurt steph or something and did not like that playing style but like GSW and what they tried to become.
Why is lebron a snake? He had a shit team, KD had a contending team and left for the team that beat them when they were up 3:1. I dont like Lebron but he isnt a snake, they just didnt build a good team next to him. Srsly they were AWFUL without him during his first run
KD had a team that would have never won a title. Russ hasn’t been anywhere close to the finals since KD left
Because he left his home team that drafted him instead waiting for a potential star Kyrie look at the bull's they were pure garbage who snorting cocaine while Jordan dropping 30 a game and suddenly they drafted pippen got Phil Jackson and the rest is history while lebron couldn't wait 🤷🏾♂️
@@LarryDonnell-sd7rvif Lebron would’ve stated they wouldn’t have never got kyrie since he’s too good for them to be that bad your point made 0 since. The Cavs front office was very very incompetent why is that so hard for y’all to realize?
@@Rieky22 thing called tank and even if they don't they could've got someone but no lebron left.
@@LarryDonnell-sd7rvI see your point if you want to compare Jordan and Bron, but it doesn't explain why he is a snake. Like waiting your entire career for something that may never happen = only then not a snake? I don't think so
Iggy never wanted to be a star or number 1 option on offense, he preferred being a role player. I wouldn't call his choice a snake move cause he was from a situation he wasn't comfortable with to one that was perfect for him.
Didn't have a problem taking the money did he
Love the videos
The raptors told demar they wouldn't trade him right before they traded him for kawhi leonard
Us Mavs get screwed all the time… Derek Fisher, Deandre Jordan, Rajon Rondo, and Lamar Odom
Celtics did everything tu push Allen out and then clutched their pearls when he went to Miami.
Also, I think everyone in the basketball world feels bad for IT, except for maybe Danny Ainge.
Free agent leaving isn't really a snake move
6:17 If true that's probably one of the biggest reasons Melo didn't won a Ring.
Didn't Allen leave because he felt disrespected, and like he was getting pushed out in favor of Rondo? If so, I can see going to their rivals for less, to send a big FU to his old team.
Kawhi should be on this list won a championship and left to play in his home town
the raptors aint mad at kawhi and im pretty positive ppl knew he most likely was leaving toronto
I'll take that over these current "superstars" who sign max deals with their team & then demand a trade. At least Kawhi had an expiration date and Raptors knew exactly what they were getting from the beginning.
David lee was the first big free agent we got
Jeremy Lin is an underrated NBA player.
Personally, I liked Lin more than Carmelo.
Underrated? THe guy had a 4 month period as a allstar level palyer. Melo was a top 10 player for nearly his entire career lol.
@@Plague_Doc22ppl need to get off lin’s jock strap he was average at best like literally
@@Rieky22 I wouldnt go that far, during those months he had some big games. But the issue is you cant base your opinion on a guy after a few months.
@@Plague_Doc22 a few months he peaked and hasn’t been that good since so yes he was just an average nba player he had all the time in the world to actually improve and keep up the level but it wasn’t meant to be. 🤷🏿♂️
@@Rieky22 lol you're straight up just a hater. if lin got onto a team with coaching staff that actually believed in him then of course he would've improved. the reason why he looked so good for those few months is because the knicks literally had no other option with melo out. as soon as he came back the coaches caved in to their star player and lin basically got pushed aside which is what happened when he was on the knicks, rockets, and lakers. i'm so tired of armchair "analysts" who claim that lin is a scrub when he's obviously not. although he was never a superstar he was always a smart and solid player
I know that free agents can go to whatever team they want to. As a Thunder fan in 2016, I would have been disappointed if KD didn't stay. I would have gotten over it if it had been any other team except the Warriors. The Thunder had just lost a contentious WCF and blew a 3-1 lead in the process. I was hoping the Warriors would lose to Cleveland in the Finals, but wasn't counting on it until they actually did.
Fisher is awful for that wow used his own faughter
Fisher was always a dirty player. Plus the post-career stuff he's been into. That dude's a 🐍 for sure.
The franchises wheel and deal players without taking any considerations into account. The players don't owe them any loyalties. You all gotta stop shilling for the rich. They don't need you.
LeBron left Cavs to joined Heat. When Wade got older with injuries and Bosh with health issue he took off and left them
Can’t remember exactly which player, but on jj Redicks podcast a former nugget said Karl would purposely talk shit to nuggets players about each other, to try and ‘motivate’ them ig, but in reality it just pissed off all the players
None of those moves were snake moves because these organizations have to loyalty to the players, so nowadays players have taken their destinies in their own hands and now they’re doing what’s best for them. The hell with these organizations
I grew up a Jazz fan and when I heard that Derek Fischer wanted out of his contract after 1 years in Utah to be closer to his daughters care in New York. I felt he was using as his way to get out of Utah and get back to the Lakers. It was a straight up dirt bag move on his part.
Oh heck yeah
u wont know a snake move until after you've been bitten and the snake sheds its skin and leaves.
Derek Fisher is the DJ Envy of the NBA
I should point out that Vince Carter was drafted by the Warriors and traded on draft night. You can literally see him wearing a Warriors hat in this video. I know I am being nitpicky. (The Raptors picked Antawan Jamieson)
Kevin Durant and LeBron were both free agents when they choose the new teams they wanted play for.
How is that if you’re a superstar, the media and fans get to tell you what organization you’re allowed to play for?
Vince was not a snake for leaving Toronto. He was crucified and kicked out, c'mon bro! This is main stream media type of journalism.
Nuggets we’re a better team after Melo left
There are very few loyal basketball players left in today's NBA.for example....
This whole video could just be Derek Fisher
That Nuggets team could've been great, such a what if story.
Imagine iggy stayed in Denver
They forgot Norm Nixon, and what Magic Johnson had the Lakers do to him in the early 80s
The Lakers were barely making it in the playoffs and had lost to pheonix 2 yrs straight when they signed Derek Fisher. Get your facts straight.
Very true. The Lakers became championship contenders when they acquired Pau Gasol.
Those aren’t snake moves. That’s called doing what’s best for yourself and your life. We all have choices and they felt they made the best choice for their lives.
Carlos Boozer better be on here
Besides the mediocre, very forced transitions in your vids, ngl they're still fire 💯🔥
Carlos is not a snake . Math is math 39 million or 70? Man call me a shake all day with that option
Just because you agree to the terms of a contract, you are not obligated to sign it. That does not make one a snake.
Doc Rivers betrayed Ray Allen. He had no choice but to leave
iguodala's legs werent gonna last him long enough to remain valuable. he wanted to be a key role player to a championship team instead of somebody that's nice enough to lose in the playoffs to the top team. boozer is just biz. as cool as 40 mill is he could get 80. A lot of those are either just biz or championship chasing.
What about teams who were snakes with their own players?
One thing u forgot was Kyrie and the Celtics
Iggy 2 the Dubs... And don't forget Sean Livingston!!!
Knicks didn’t snake Lin. The Rockets signed Lin to a contract with provisions designed for teams not to match. And The Knicks signed Jason Kidd that summer so they didn’t need him
Isaiah begged to play through injury lmfao
Bron didn't join a 73 win team...it's not the same lol. People ironically seem to forget that the Celtics formed their big 3 first ..won a ring...which forced other teams to try and assemble their own big 3
1. George Karl calling out Melo after he balled out is a snake shit
2. Jeremy did some snake shit, he signed a poison pill contract and karma bit him because Harden came and lin never recovered.
2. Melo being jealous of Lin is hilarious
the knicks told him they would match but then backed out. nba players are told all the time to "get your money". but when lin does it he's a snake? you're gonna sit there and tell me that if your workplace offered you 5 million and a competitor company offered 20 million you'd take the 5 million in order to be "loyal" and "not a snake"? actually use your brain. and even if he wasn't a superstar he was still a solid player and more importantly a respected teammate, UNLIKE ballhog diva harden.
@@drunkbygreentea he could've got the same amount of money from the Knicks, it was the way the Rockets structured it that made it impossible. He knew what he did
I see what you did in that thumbnail
Bron and KD made no promises. They were both free agents hearing offers from all sorts when they left Cleveland and OKC respectively. Nothing snakey there. Call them soft for the moves they made at the time but that's how it goes these days. Why was it okay for KG and Ray Allen to hook up with Pierce in Boston but not for Bron to join Wade and Bosh in Miami or for Ray Allen to join them later or for KD to join the Warriors?
The Knicks didn’t sign Lin because it would put them over the luxury tax and seriously cripple our ability to sign players and make trades.
right...and all those years you guys did SO well with the 0 championships you earned.
I think more people hated Bron due to that awful the Decision Special he did
.
That andre iguodala reference is weak. He played there for two years. His coach was fired, so he left.
