Another insane super team we almost saw recently was the Raptors. Kawhi allegedly told the Clips and Raptors whoever gets PG gets me. OKC made an offer to the Raptors that included PG and Westbrook for Siakam, Vanvleet, and picks. If that had happened, the Raptors would’ve been crazy. Assuming the same Westbrook trade with Houston would’ve happened for CP and picks, the Raptors would’ve had Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, OG Anunoby, Normal Powell, Serge Ibaka, Marc Gasol, and Danny Green. That roster would’ve been insane (also fragile though)
@@kalibakingJesustha1 I think it makes sense when you consider how big the trade for Westbrook was from Houston. They would've gotten all the picks they gave up back and more giving them a solid window to contend and a solid future to look forward to
If bron and dwade signed up with the bulls, i think drose will not get injured. Drose got injured because he played in garbage time versus philly, imagine bron and dwade sealing the game away and letting rose sit and rest, that would be monumental and perhaps the entire matchup wouldnt even happen at the same time
His acl injury was caused by improper running and landing mechanics. He ran in his heel rather than on his toes. And Derrick Rose didn't have good body control in his lower body when it came to landing after an athletic dunk over larger defenders. Those things lead to bone fatigue as over use causes the tendons and ligaments around the knees to weaken. If Derrick Rose did the same running and landing mechanics drills track athletes use like what LeBron did, those knee injuries were very preventable
Fr tho they probs would win in 2011, drose probably woudlnt get injured and they would win 12, 13 an possibly even 14 aswell, if they stayed they probably would also win in 15

I have to add another almost superteam from the 70's. As we all know Julius Erving was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks, who at the time has Kareem and Oscar Robertson. If Erving actually started to play for Bucks, Kareem would have stayed for a much longer.

Well first Kyrie wouldn’t have stayed in Cleveland if PG was traded there because he was the trade piece that was the reason Kyrie wanted a trade when everything came out
If Melo went to the Pistons, they most likely wouldn’t have traded for Sheed, Lindsay Hunter, and Mike James, which would have made it harder to win a ring
Hunter was already part of the team at the start of that season. He was traded alongside Chucky Atkins [and a pick iirc] to the Celtics for James as a salary dump to make the Sheed trade work. He was released by Boston and resigned by the Pistons after a 10 day waiting period or something. They probably still make the trade because they needed help with post scoring but I don't think they win in 04 if Melo is getting more minutes than Prince.
