This was sooo helpful! I was just accepted into the Influencer program so trying to figure out the best practices. I found you from Sean Cannel's Think Media Podcast and applied after listening to the Ep. and was approved immediately.y (I was already an associate). Thank you so much!
Yes, but Amazon was referring to duplicate content, as in uploading the same exact video more than once. It's a shady practice and I'm glad they're cracking down on it! They encourage multiple videos per product and it's documented in their best practices.
If you change the thumbnail and/or title and it still doesn't get into a carousel..... what do you think about deleting and re-publishing with new thumbnail? Also any suggestions for title changes? Thanks!
I would not delete a video and reupload it (the same exact video). Amazon says not to do that. Instead, tweak a title or try a different thumbnail. If that doesn't work then I create a new video instead.
Yes, you can create more than one video per product as long as you're not using the same video to upload to Amazon. Amazon encourages multiple videos per product but does not allow duplicates to be uploaded...this is the difference.
Then I would create as many videos as possible before Prime Day - Look at your Amazon order history and sort by item price. Start with the highest priced item and go down the list (or use Fluencer Fruit to ID your biggest opportunities from your order history).
@kathleenkobel you lost me at 2:52 with "Group by" - how did you get to that option after you went to view for 90 days? After I change the date range it shows me my total earnings for 90 days but I don't have a report appear like yours with "group by" in the top right.
@@kathleenkobel I don't see what you see when I have my on-Amazon report for 90 days pulled. My options in the top right are: Payment History, Download Reports, and Feedback. I don't have commissions unless I download a CSV file. But yours looks like it's pulling on the screen automatically.
@@sometimeshomeamazon Look under the primary metrics. There are columns that start with Product Title - Product Link Clicks, etc. Look above the Commission Income column and you will see the drop down. I tried inserting a screenshot but youtube won't let me.

Saving up for this course now! I appreciate all the valuable free info in the meantime ❤
Awesome! Thank you! 🙏
Amazing tips, Kathleen! Thank you! I've only been an influencer for three weeks, so hoping for the best.
It's a great time to be in the program!
so much great info here Kathleen. I’m so excited for prime days.
Me too! I love Prime Day!
Amazon just sent out an email today regarding uploading duplicate content. I'd be careful about posting multiple reviews for 1 product.

@@kathleenkobelThank you! I was curious. I’m sad about the music I liked for my intro and ending lol
Wow this was amazing ❤
Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much! Pulled up the stats and going to create my second videos in the next two weeks. :)
Fantastic!
Great tips! I will get on that list of my top 15 videos and make those 2nd videos
Nice! Way to take action! 👍
Thank you for this! Awesome tips.
Glad it was helpful!

Even after the recent email about multiple videos, it's ok to make 2nd or 3rd videos for the same product?(obviously different from the first video)

Please explain carousel. Thanks
The video placement seen on a product listing page next to or underneath the images. 👍
What if we just started and don’t have 90 days worth of data or even “top earners”

It should be there....it's on the right side above the columns that shows your commission.
