But as someone that doesn't listen or take orders very well, I probably would've done the same. LOL. I would like to know what size lift and tires that TJ has on it, and how it did out there besides this video. My dream has always been to go to Moab whether I'm in My rig, or just watching. I have a soft top on my jeep and i like it because it is easy to put down and its nice and light so that helps the fuel economy slightly. I might consider a hardtop because (mistake me if i'm wrong) but they are way safer in a roll over. They protect your head and this hardtop probably saved this guys roll bar

    • @fiveowaf454
      @fiveowaf454 4 роки тому

      I wouldn't do it personally, and drive around it, but I've seen almost stock Jeeps negotiate it fairly easily. I've noticed lot of these really lifted vehicles with big tires struggling more on Moabs steep inclines than vehicles with just a slight lift and mildly larger tires. Hells Revenge does not need a lot of ground clearance it's just steep inclines, other trails do require a more ground clearance, but aren't ones I'd personally want to go on. Lifting a vehicle that high with the short wheel base, makes it more inclined to go over backwards or forwards.

    short wheel base, thats why I prefer a XJ ;)
    Had a wrangler, and had lots of pucker moments. ALmost went end over end frontwards, and thats when I drilled the gas, slammed back end down and made it.
    Drop tire pressure and this guy would have been less likely to roll

    • @cmdmd
      @cmdmd 7 років тому +1

      I think there was a comment here but it got deleted. It was from a person that does NOT know what is the center of gravity.
      The center of gravity is a geometric property of any object. The center of gravity is the average location of the weight of an object. We can completely describe the motion of any object through space in terms of the translation of the center of gravity of the object from one place to another, and the rotation of the object about its center of gravity if it is free to rotate.
