Hey awesome looking ribs! Question about the smoker. Can you put wood inside the chimney? Or is it better to leave it in the ash pan?
I did a pork but last night and intermittently put wood then charcoal till full and had no issues. I think it's better to mix inside the hopper.
Do you leave out or do you have a cover?
I think the sun over time will crack the temp/timer screen...
I don't have a cover for it yet, I probably should get one.
Great looking ribs! How does the flavor compare with ones you cook on your other CGer?
Hey Daniel, I won't lie and these were prob the best baby backs i've made. There really shouldn't be any difference in flavor since we're using charcoal and wood chunks in everything so far regardless of the cooker.
Forget about giving away a smoker, raffle off some ribs...lol...nice cook.
Haha, there ya go man! Thanks for watchin!
You usung any wood chunks in this smoker?
Yep, actually I thought I recorded showing the apple wood chunks in the ash pan, but it didn't come out. I cooked with about 4-5 apple chunks on this cook.
I would do some ribs, but I didn't win the 980. : (
💎🙌🏼
