Definitely! And apparently it wasn't even "that long" according to the ppl I played with. Can't imagine it being any longer it was already difficult haha.
I went last month less than a week after The City championship. The rough was TALL and there was no first cut. Miss fairway just 10 ft wide = lost ball. Didn't plug either as I seen it bounce. Couldn't find unless directly on top of it. I found balls where others gave up just a few feet off the fairway. LOL. Those conditions were beyond brutal. Returned last week and the rough height was back to normal...could find your ball, but hitting out of it was still no picnic. Enjoyed the vid! Thanks.
The people I played with said it was recently cut and it was STILL a struggle. I can't imagine the conditions you went through I would've been struggling and lost all my balls haha. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! I'm playing Harding Park next week. I've been warned by folks left and right about the narrow fairways and deep rough. You just showed me what a regular golfer should expect. I'll try to stay out of the rough and go for 95!
I shot a 97 from the 6,848 yard blue tees, which is about 4-5 strokes more than I get from a shorter course at about 6,500 yards. Fair course. Perfect condition. Only make 2-3 mistakes. It's gorgeous. Thanks for all your help with this video!
Matt, shooting 90 at Harding is fantastic. I'm playing there Friday for the first time and as a 15 HC, all I'm looking to do is go under 95, have 4 pars and limit the doubles, which you did admirably. If you're putter had been a little hotter, you'd have been under 85!
Yeah I've been giving them a try. I couldn't tell you performance wise if they are better or worse than xyz (not that level of golfer lol). They get decent spin but not as good as a tier 1 ball like a prov1 or tp5. What I can tell you is that they are nice to use on the green to line up putts as opposed to having to draw lines on the back witha sharpie. It is fun to see the ball spin in the air with both colors. They are definitely easy to find and that's why I'm using them here at this course haha.
Great video man. Harding is my home course and I still struggle out of the rough there.
Such a great track! Throughout the round I was dreading any shot I left in the rough 😂
Great video. The rough lives up to its calling.

Have fun out there!
@@GolfParfection if you don’t hear from me again, I’d likely have shot something over 110…

I hate those divide golf balls lol found one the other day and it messes with my eyes on the putting green.
I decided to try them out here specifically because I wanted something easy to see in the rough haha. They do look super weird when they roll/fly.
I played there before the redesign back in 1998. Need to get out there again one of these days.
I used to own Harding Park..
played 1988--2003 before the snobs took over..
It was a great layout long ago.....Had lots more trees
great video! im a 15 hcp from Finland, love your videos
Greetings! Thanks for watching 🙏
Come back for redemption :) great vid as always!
Need to play more SF courses!
Welcome to the rough of Harding Park. Been there......done that. Better luck next time, Kid.
Great video. What app do you use for tracking your shots?
For shot tracers I use an app called "shot tracer" and for on course shots I use Arccos. Thanks for watching 👊
Are you using the srixon divide golf balls? If so, how do you like them? Thinking about getting a dozen?

Brutal rough, they grew it out and narrowed the fairways for the PGA Championship and just never adjusted it back for the weekend golfers…🤦🏻♂️
Yeah apparently it was cut down too and I still was struggle bussing lol
