What are some of your best memories with Minecraft Bedrock? ALSO! for the sake of this video, I use Legacy Edition to show where pre-Bedrock versions were at
I remember being 8 hrs old sitting on a bean bag in my living room, I had just got Minecraft on my Fire Kindle Tablet and I chose my name by smooshing my name and a comic I read together and adding the word cool at the end, I loaded up my first world and spawned on a sand island waited there until night tried to swim away (by not swimming just walking in the water) and a creeper blew me up. The first update I had was the Nether Update and after changing device to amps4 when I was 11 I truly fell in love with Minecraft Bedrock.

I remember destroying my entire survival base because I activated a goofy nether reactor in the middle of it 💀 i thought it was a dimension 🙁 i was 8 🙁 this video deserves a lot, excellent stuff. it was fun to work with you on this.
I grew up playing Console Edition on my PS3 and Pocket Edition on my phone. Only later was I actually able to play Java Edition. I didn't grow up with Minecraft the same way other people did. Even during 2018, I stuck to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, mostly because I still enjoyed it. I didn't find anything interesting in Fortnite because it was so different from what I used to play, but also because I couldn't play it. I'm so glad I didn't have a PS4 or a powerful enough PC at the time. During that time, I would play a lot of Hive and CubeCraft. I also played a lot of pay-to-win faction servers, and that's what got me into Discord. I'm so glad 2019 came around because it made Minecraft popular again, and I was really happy about it. To this day, I unironically enjoy playing Minecraft for what it is. I love both editions of Minecraft, to be completely honest, and seeing people fight over which version is better makes me sick of it because they're both good and bad in their own ways. I hate when people say, "This is the superior version of Minecraft." Minecraft was always good, and when Mojang makes a bad update, I don't care about it. This game helped me make the most valuable friendships, and I just can't thank this game enough for that.
this is exactly how i went into minecraft and discord. I started out playing in 2013 on the ps3 until around 2021 where i played bedrock edition and where i first got introduced to discord and i played on a server with some friends.

This video literally made me cry. My sisters and I got Minecraft in 2018 on our Amazon Fire tablets. We had so much fun building houses and mansions and messing with Addons. I love this game. With all my life.
Solid video man really appreciate it! My first experience with Minecraft was the launch night on the 360 staying at a cousins house overnight. We were beyond excited for the game. TU2 brought split screen and a few other small things, TU3 was pistons and the Nether. For me these were the most nostalgic moments of the game. TU4 would change the original villages and castle and after that I wouldn’t really play the tutorial worlds anymore. About 3 or 4 years after I would find myself with some birthday money. Could have got Java edition for $35 but instead got a 360 wired controller, pdp afterglow, and Windows10 edition which was $10 at the time. spent $35 all together at the time thought it was a better deal. Still dont regret it. I have a huge soft spot for Win10 edition as thats where id spend so much of my time playing the game. I am upset some of the unique packs like the biome settlers and strangers packs arent around anymore, but now I can play with my cousins who play on console and sisters who have it on mobile. I never played Java officially, just a heavily modded launcher but Bedrock has been in my life far longer. Java was here first, I respect that, but I prefer Bedrock over it. Recently found a save online of TU2 from the old consoles, exploring the old world has me so happy on the game again. Minecraft wont die, its too big of a sandbox to die, but we will all grow up eventually. I think out of my group im the only one who still likes MC as much as I used to as a kid. Dont think it will change any time soon.
i don’t see how? i think it’s insanely impressive how well bedrock works on your mobile device, considering how the java version is notorious for seriously heating up PCs.

I wasnt able to play online because my playstation plus ran out well before i got minecraft. Either way this sent me back. I remember playing Cove on the Battle Minigame and when I got the Power V bow…omg, it drained the enemy to 6hp (3 hearts) even if they had diamond armor on
I remember playing Pocket edition in (I think) 2016 on my dad's iPad, I sucked at survival, I built a house beside a village, and got mad when the villagers would come into my house so I dug a trench around my house to stop them from getting in and then they literally all fell in there and died. My house was built out of spruce wood I took from the villagers houses and dirt. I don't remember doing anything particularly progressive in that world, I think I had like 3 iron from the blacksmith. I also remember thinking gold armour and tools was the best in the game 😓
I remember playing survival mcbe minecraft with my brother. We were so bad that we gave up finding the stronghold, went in creative 70% of the time, and had keep inventory and etc.😢
Holy crap this is nostalgic! I started playing in 2013 on Minecraft Lite, then moved on to Minecraft PE and then I begged my dad to buy Minecraft Java on his laptop which he finally agreed on after getting a new one in 2016 and then my friend somehow downgraded windows to a 2008 version or something which destroyed the pc so 4 years later, I asked my dad again if he could let me play Minecraft on his laptop and he agreed. And I’ve been playing Java ever since.
I first started playing java on my friends pc, Soon i got Minecraft on my moms phone and i fell in love with it, i soon got it on console, then bought bedrock on my pc, Ive been playing it ever sense.
me when i played Pocket Edition on my IPod 5th gen, had the coolest world ever (this was pre-superflat and having water buckets / animals in creative) and spamming sheep spawn eggs when it came out, which in turn crashed my world and made it unplayable :( that was my Pocket Edition peak, and this video brought back a lot of the nostalgia from playing with my friends and having the best time ever when we were 11
We grow, minecraft grows with us, the only thing we can do is to move with it and to realise that the version of minecraft today is our version and the older version was your past person to play on so enjoy minecraft as much as possible, have ideas flow in your mind on what to do and don't burn yourself out doing only one thing e.g only mining when you can add building or exploring to it.
Minecraft Console Edition and Minecraft pocket Edition are not related at all to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, notice how all the nostalgia stops in 2017. (the same year bedrock edition was made) Bedrock Edition is not Console edition or pocket edition updated, its a different version of the game entirely. it was garbage from the start to the end, it does not get credit for console and pocket edition stuff. everything good you said about bedrock edition was not even part of bedrock edition.
I just built giants planes in creative mode and watch Dantdm trying out the video mode not realizing that there were 2 different Minecraft versions and mine wouldn’t have the mods, let alone me knowing they weren’t just part of the game
i remember the first time i played minecraft, me and my brother always plays on a flat world and we always build castles made of diamonds and we have to fight each other and sometimes we put zombies on the ground for the zombie apocalypse mode, sadly my brother left for college now.. 😢
I discovered Minecraft around 2015/16 but I only got it years later, probably in 2018. I got the ps4 version and when it updated to bedrock I lost all my worlds. I always played alone because I was a girl and the only kids who wanted to play with me were one who had java edition and a friend of mine with whom we played a bunch of times at my house. It breaks my heart every time because I would’ve loved to play with other kids and because I also have lost all my childhood friends.
They should make an option in the settings before you hit “play” so you could have the old overlay (button look, old block look, ETC.) . I’m well aware they have a texture pack, but it would be more fun if nostalgic if we could have that option to play with those old looks.
[11:10] * 0.12.0 is the first version of Windows 10 Edition, not 0.14.0 [11:29] * Heads used to look like that on Java too. It just wasn't changed yet. [11:37] - Yes, that was removed in 0.12.0, because they added the Nether Portal in that version. [17:14] * The UI is no different on Pocket Edition. The only things that are different, are the 'Play' screen, and the 'Inventory' screen. I may add more to this list in the future
1:46 bro you have to press both buttons to go forward, and press left and right individually for turns 💀 "Tell me you didn't play mcpe without telling me you didn't play mcpe" ahh moment Great vid btw
Started playing on 0.14. Still play bedrock on phone, but because of friends I had to get java. I remembered about furnace minecart. Core memory activated. It was like: when we'll have command blocks/armor stands/cool mods/3d block texture packs? Now we have it all, but at what cost... The fact furnace minecarts wouldn't be added on bedrock and fixed at all devastating me. It would definitely help me in early game, when gold is pretty much needed for more valuable things, rather than some rails. Still won't update from my 1.17.41, they changed too much(limited size of 3d models for blocks/shaders/storage)
I remember in the tutorial world, using a lava bucket on my brother and burning his stuff to make him ragequit because mom said "we were supposed to play together."
even though I started playing in 2020 I remember I had this one world that had a netherite house but the nostalgia of the old terrain just hits so hard.
17:56 this village could be added again, but as if it was a village of backward villageagers, they still haven't managed to change the village to something more complex
My experience with bedrock is getting a worse version of the previous console edition with less features. I never played online so there where no real positives for me. I remember trying to get into the game again and just finding what I wanted to do couldn't be done on the version. I couldn't stop the snow in my spruce forest from melting on my long term world. I basically got global warminged in game. I couldn't go back because my xbox360 couldn't fetch cloud saves anymore and that's where all my Minecraft data was. Then my long term world that I had hundreds of hours in got corrupted and a bunch of chunks got reset. The new generation clashes with the old and now I feel Minecraft honeless
I feel like Minecraft’s turning point (not in a bad way) was when the Texture update was released. When that happened, minecraft felt more like a “minecraft 1.5 or 2” for a few weeks.
A big misconception about bedrock, is that it's the same as the legacy console edition. Legacy console edition was developed by 4J studios and made specifically for consoles. It was also written in C# Unlike bedrock, that was written in C++ and made for phones. They are two completely different versions. Legacy console is extremely faithful to java, down to redstone. Bedrock is not. It has different menus, crafting mechanics, rendering system etc. Go and boot up a _____ edition copy if you still have it and compare it to bedrock.
i played java and Bedrock both for a long time, bedrock 13 years, and java 14 years. unfortunately, i got hacked on my accounts a lot back days. I remember when I played it on my xbox360 and had friends.we are getting old -Farbod

They should make an option in the settings before you hit “play” so you could have the old overlay (button look, old block look, ETC.) . I’m well aware they have a texture pack, but it would be more fun if nostalgic if we could have that option to play with those old looks.
The 2013 clip made me so nostalgic.
[11:10] * 0.12.0 is the first version of Windows 10 Edition, not 0.14.0
[11:29] * Heads used to look like that on Java too.
1:46 bro you have to press both buttons to go forward, and press left and right individually for turns 💀
"Tell me you didn't play mcpe without telling me you didn't play mcpe" ahh moment
Great vid btw
Ilove how U make videos and simple edits so U can make me feel the same feel U feel 😊 , and how U focus on quality not quantity
I started when I was about 7 on Xbox 360 in Tu11. I turned 20 a month ago, Time really flies.
I don't remember that search bar in the creative menu being there at 9:27. Also, why does the crafting menu look slightly different at 6:34?
This video brought back so many memories, I literally cried
Did anyone see the chat text around 15:20 "EvidentP is now doing the griddy!"
I used to watch battle mode videos all the time when I was younger
even though I started playing in 2020 I remember I had this one world that had a netherite house but the nostalgia of the old terrain just hits so hard.
Have somebody knew we always place a crafting table next to a furnace back in the day
Yeah & me building Minecraft emerald block house with my brother & sister & our neighbor
17:56 this village could be added again, but as if it was a village of backward villageagers, they still haven't managed to change the village to something more complex
I remember me buying the game because it had multiplayer which was popular back in 2013 when I got the game and still to this day, I still play it 😎
Nice video
I played pocket edition since 1.16
Played since 0.4.0
Okay after watching this video fully, it made me cry.
Minecraft console edition and Minecraft bedrock are two different Minecraft versions
Bedrock was a mobile game ported to consoles
Man this brings me back...
Also how do you play older versions of bedrock?
You can sadly not play it official version. You have to download the cracked mcpe from Google or other browser 😢
@@habungtaree8443 Oh. So basically it requires piracy. Thats actually really sad.
Just watching this making me feel like I'm a teenager again
I feel like Minecraft’s turning point (not in a bad way) was when the Texture update was released. When that happened, minecraft felt more like a “minecraft 1.5 or 2” for a few weeks.
Alternate title: super gamer glazing his childhood for 27 mins
😂i remember when i almost sh*t my pants when i first saw an enderman.
0.17 was the first time i played Minecraft
How do you only have 25k subs your editing is so good
Ah a another good video for Bedrock Edition.
As a pocket edition player with no money to afford java and pc itself.
No
All of you videos are bangers
They bought back legacy editions word saying "survive" when you gets to the world in bedrock latest versions
A big misconception about bedrock, is that it's the same as the legacy console edition.
Legacy console edition was developed by 4J studios and made specifically for consoles. It was also written in C#
Unlike bedrock, that was written in C++ and made for phones.
I remember when I played it on my xbox360 and had friends.we are getting old -Farbod
me before watching the video:
no its not good, its lagging sm
