This was a truly masterful performance by Anne Parillaud. I have never seen a better female in an action film before, or since. Too bad she never received the appreciation and recognition she truly deserved. There is no other Nikita.

The cast was so much better as well as the action. Given the advantage of advanced technology that was not available during the original. 2010 Nikita was better, facts. I'm not a fan of remakes, but this one took exception. Maggie Q is drastically under rated as an actress.

Such a bummer when a movie is in subtitles it gets no respect here in the states. This was a great movie.
Asian movies tend to do well but that’s usually because the choreography is so good. If you haven’t seen it I would recommend The Raid Redemption. The violence and action are cool but not in the John Wick kind of way. It’s brutal, fast and the story is damn good as well
I pity those who refuse to watch a movie not in the English language because it requires them to read subtitles. They just don't know what they're missing

I saw this before Point of no return, Anne was more vulnerable than Bridget, Point of no return was too stylized for me. This movie was highly praised on both sides of the Atlantic when it came out.

Love this movie! I had and still have a huge girl crush on Anne Parillaud. (Did she do anything else? I'm American, so I'm not hip to French cinema) They TRIED to remake it. The American version w/ Bridget Fonda sucked eggs. I loved the TV series, though.
Was good, the ending sucked, left things unanswered and deranged like all the botched relationships. Basically a junkie who is turned into an assassin who throughout and especially at the end has serious mental problems. People go all woozy over the fact it is French, so what, the French can make movies too.

Hilarious how undertone and in-shape she is compared to any modern day action females. Even in a Anna the main lead was like 5 percent bodyfat with an athletic body.

И именно ПОРОЧНЫЕ СТРАСТИ людей являются ПРИЧИНОЙ ВСЕХ БЕД, СТРАДАНИЙ, и РАЗРУШИТЕЛЬНЫХ ДЕЙСТВИЙ на Земле. А вот условия ОСВОБОЖДЕНИЯ ОТ этого ПЕРВОРОДНОГО ГРЕХА(ПОВРЕЖДЕНИЯ, СТРАСТИ) как раз и ЗАПИСАНЫ в КНИГЕ ЖИЗНИ, СВЯТОМ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ. НО СНАЧАЛА , чтобы донести их людям, сам СЫН, БОГ СЛОВО ВОЧЕЛОВЕЧИЛСЯ(ИИСУС ХРИСТОС, имя ИИСУС означает СПАСИТЕЛЬ). А ЕГО за это РАСПЯЛИ. Но ОСТАЛОСЬ СВЯТОЕ ЕВАНГЕЛИЕ.
