Kimchi Cheese is a popular snack combo but I think you can substitute shredded or melty white cheese rather than starting from a hard block also you don't need to season the cheese if you're pairing it with seasoned kimchi rather than if you're using old fashioned ocean kimchi that has less pepper
To melt the cheese out it in low heat and cover it with a glass lid and put very little water so the steam could melt it make sure it doesn’t get on the bread
For me whenever I make grilled cheeses I start with a cold pan and put some water in the pan, like a handful, and cover it with a lot of something, when steam comes from out of the lid it's time to flip

He’s not a bad chef he’s just British.
Most of the world's greatest chefs come from Britain, 0 of the world's greatest chefs come from America.
I'm not sure what you're implying
@@cessnacitation-xThomas Keller is an American chef with 7 Michelin stars
@@joshuahernandez-bm1zp That's great. What's your point?
@@cessnacitation-x He could be considered one of the greatest by that metric, but it's all subjective so it's kinda pointless arguing about it. I just think it's ignorant to to say none of the best chefs come from America. America is a huge place with a ton of prestigious culinary institutions and noteworthy restaurants.
@@joshuahernandez-bm1zp I agree that it's inaccurate to say no good chefs come from the US. But, by far does Europe have much better chefs, it's indisputable that most of the best chefs come from Europe. Compared to your average great European chef, 7 Michelin stars isn't that great, and, no offence, but the US is famous for having pretty terrible food. But that's just average American food, despite never having heard of him, I would definitely pay to have something made by a seven (7) Michelin star chef, American or not.
Gordon is very obviously not a bad cook.
Man blurred cheese pull
Homie did it the same way as Gordon and couldn't figure out what he did wrong.
Also you added it in hot oil pan do that's a boomer right there
You added too much oil , hear was too high , you cut cheese very thick
gordon ramsay did all of that, i was just following his recipe HAHA
kimchi grilled cheese minus the burnt bread and unmelted cheese is actually really good. I literally haven’t made grilled cheese WITHOUT kimchi in years I highly recommend trying !!
Yeah spicy grilled cheeses are so good, kimchi is known commonly for going with cheese (gochujang in general goes great with cheese too)
If it has anything other than cheese, it’s not a grilled cheese, it’s a melt.
U gotta let the cheese sit out in the sun for about 2 hours before u put it in the sandwich, everybody knows that. This is your fault, not Gordon’s
I don’t eat fancy cheese so I can’t tell wether or not you are serious
Fanciest cheese I’ve had is Bree and it tasted like satans sweaty balls.
I recommend that you cook it slowly so then the cheese can melt and the bread would not burn
This makes my “ attempt” of a grilled cheese look like a 5 star meal
I’m still 90% sure he was trolling with this recipe lmao. He knows people would take him seriously, but he made it believable enough.
Who's trolling? Gordon? Nah he's really a bad chef...
Pan was too hot
Anyone saying Gordon is a bad chef should just once Google who Gordon Ramsay is.
Gordon gets to have a preference Bruh
The people who say he’s a bad chef probably can’t make cup noodles
How can you say something so silly?
Y’know, you could claim that Nixon was a bad politician and statesman and I could then tell you that he’s a better one than you could be, would that invalidate your opinion?
No, it would just be a non sequitur
@@carsonnesbit1178Being a politician and cooking skills have no correlation to each other so no that's a terrible analogy 💀💀💀 bro thought he was that guy
@@neatt5160 ok, you missed the point of what I said. Obviously cooking and politics aren’t the same thing, you get a gold star for figuring that one out!
What I was saying, is that it’s silly to invalidate someone’s criticisms by saying that there’s somebody out there who can do it better.
“Gordon Ramsay is a bad chef for X reasons”
“Well he’s Gordon Ramsay, who are you to say he’s a bad chef? I doubt you could even make a cup noodles”
It’s a non sequitur, as I said, you just completely missed the point you smooth brained goober.
@@neatt5160it can be compared my guy, its like saying food critic can't judge food unless they got 17 Michelin star like him, you are the one who think you are that guy.
if gordan ain’t the one making it, it’s not his
If it's made the way he would make it, then it's pretty safe to say that it's his
Gordon simps?
Gordon still didnt cook the grilled cheese and burnt the sandwich so what you gotta say now
@@kek848 Its obv not, anyone can see that. The guy in the vid is not gordon so there's no way he made it the same, not even close.
Gordon fucked it up in the vid I was wondering why he even posted it.
he couldn’t find any other cheese where he stayed
If you put it in the oven for a few minutes, it might taste better👍🏻
I don’t think Gordon Ramsey not being able to make a grilled cheese makes him a bad cook
that grilled cheese was one of the biggest mistakes of his career
Hes still definitely a good chef not everyone perfect
He also used olive oil to toast the bread, and put it in a CAST IRON over an OPEN FLAME. And he did it indoors lmao The more you watch the video the worse it gets.
bro if people think gordon is bad theyre trippin
Your cheese was probably cooler than his and the size of the cheese slice is important too the heat is to strong put the heat down cover and the pan must be butter properly and u have a nice grill cheese but if you still suck on it just butter the pan cook the cheese till its melting a little add the kimchi and when it's almost done put it on the bread and then put the thing on a pan for the bread to cook and everything to be done properly 🤣 when cooking professionally you have to prep the ingredients which means have them on the right temperatures to make sure the cooking process goes as expected 😊 its like baking a cake you can't put a frozen butter bar and expect the same result as if it was a soft temperature bar
Gordon’s cheese also didn’t melt…
Did you not see Gordon’s cheese before you typed this
Everyone makes the best grilled cheese in their taste buds
I mean, you can't judge someone based on one dish.
Many of his other dishes are absolutely phenomenal, and also.
I'm 99% sure that cheese in particular isn't supposed to melt or be melted.
Yo, THANK YOU... because grilled cheese and tomato soup is my absolute favorite comfort dish and after I saw that video, I had to make like 4 grilled cheese sandwiches to not feel like I'm crazy. My only deviation is that I use Colby Jack or Monterey Jack cheese, but they actually melt (also they taste better)
what kind of cheese is it.
now we slice the cheese a lot thinner that looks pretty thick
Bro cooked on high heat like a noob.
Uber eats🗿
Should have gotten chef Mike in on it to pre-melt the cheese
You look like that one meme when you laugh 😅
Dude he was in Tazmania, and he was in a hurry
Bro the people that disagree that gordon ramsey is a bad chef they are from twitter no cap💀
Bro said "kimki"
People who are saying "gordon cant cook" cant even cook instant ramen
Kimchi Cheese is a popular snack combo but I think you can substitute shredded or melty white cheese rather than starting from a hard block also you don't need to season the cheese if you're pairing it with seasoned kimchi rather than if you're using old fashioned ocean kimchi that has less pepper
Wow the comments section is wild. They act like he insulted their mom😅 Like man, he didn't even called Gordon a bad chef.
But he is a bad chef. He's only good at european style cuisines.
If u cut the bread thinner put butter in the pan and use thinner cuts of cheese it would be amazing
To melt the cheese out it in low heat and cover it with a glass lid and put very little water so the steam could melt it make sure it doesn’t get on the bread
If this was reference to him visiting Romania or something, He said there were no grills there
For me whenever I make grilled cheeses I start with a cold pan and put some water in the pan, like a handful, and cover it with a lot of something, when steam comes from out of the lid it's time to flip
Relatively speaking tbf we don’t really eat grilled cheese sandwiches in the uk
