- A legit PC98 remix of Touhou Hollow Song of Birds Final Boss Theme.
I thought about doing all PC98 HSOB stage and boss theme but it's too much for me, so I jump straight to the final boss.
Illustration including Horou sprite and portrait is done by myself. I know the color in this illustration is too much for a real pc98 computer to handle, but I don't care as long as it looks good.

If I'm correct, Gensokyo magnets forgotten beings, including extinct species. The rainbow ibis is extinct, correct?
If Horou is the last of her kind... she's probably going to return to Gensokyo.
@@Devilcakes It used to be almost extinct, but due to hardcore conservation efforts, they managed to repopulate the population in Sado to a healthy-ish levels (for an almost extinct species, that is). So if Horou managed to break out of Gensokyo one day, she'll be able to find her family again

I love the PC-98 soundfont; it sounds alot like the Sega Genesis's sound font and I grew up playing the classic Sonic games so the PC-98 soundfont always gives me nostalgia

I played mystic square to get the screenshot for the frame, and a little pixel art experience to edit it.
For Horou sprite, I basically trace the original sprite, the portrait also traced from mystic square stage 4 boss that I don't remember her name.
