For full arch impression metal tray is more preferable because it doesn't deformate. Medium viscosity material not penetrate into sulcus so would not good for crown prepared teeth
Роман Понятний medium body will be excellent for crowns compare to light body that tears way. Light body we used long time ago for crowns, now most common is medium body because is stronger and margins more durable.
Hi Nina. Absolutely! It is easy to forget with all of the products, tips, and tricks in dentistry these days that, at our roots, alginate used to be one of our only options. I like the fact that you mentioned the most important part...using exact ratios as directed. When using alginate, it is important to do three things: 1. Mix the alginate with exact ratios. 2. pour the model in stone within 10 minutes. 3. Mix the STONE to exact ratios as directed. Any over or under mixing can cause shrinking or swelling of the alginate or stone causing massive ill-fitting errors to occur with the final appliance. Thank you for watching!
Let me just say this I was fitted for 3 night guards and they all were horrible I went to the third dentist he took a digital impression my night guard fits fine there is no way you can get good to fit without taking a digital impression
