South-of-the border food does not find a place in my diet, but I am happy to hear you say they spiced things up a bit; bland is not a good thing when describing food. So they increased the price somewhat. That’s not a big deal to me, ‘cause when I go to Las Vegas I do not go with the thought of pinching pennies. That attitude spoils my enjoyment.

You should do best ribs in vegas. A few years ago a friend took me to a hole in the wall rib shop it wasnt all i could eat but i couldn't finish it and i eat.

The close up shots of the food are nice, but what about a wider shot of each station and the buffet as a whole? A breakdown on the new pricing? Are the drinks self-serve now? You used to never miss these and part of what set you above all the rest; I hope you can include them again in future videos. Nevertheless, keep up the good work.
Guy Davis: The Southern food section is extensive; I especially like the greens. The biscuits and gravy makes you want to slap your grandmother (to borrow a phrase).

If you say it's spicy, I'm taking your word for it! I have a low tolerance for spicy foods. Jalapeño peppers make my nose run and I feel it overpowers as the main flavor.
I was just there a few days ago at that buffet.. Just came back from Vegas today. The buffet itself is pretty decent. For the price one cannot complain. Because your not paying alot you dont feel obligated to stuff yourself.
I had been to New Orleans and their food is really good. It does not look like a New Orleans buffet. But I will try it when I visit my sister in Las Vegas because I love southern food. I like Golden Corral because it is southern food.

Me and my friend used to hit the buffet before the remodeling. Food and service was very good, but since the re-opening. To us the food quality has dropped, unlike the prices. Service was questionable at best. Oh well, someone has to pay for that remodeling.

You DON'T go to ANY buffet looking for GOOD fried chicken. You go to a GOOD fried chicken place! Same with pizza. Most Vegas Buffets are good for prime rib, seafood (oysters, shrimp, crab legs) salads and desserts and that's about it.
Some of these buffets look hot fresh and fantastic.. some look like leftovers that are dry and crusty. You would think they would really concentrate on a clean and prepared visual look of their buffet.
You know what would be awesome? All you can Reno! Heading there in about 10 days and not sure if any of the buffets or worth it because of course they are not up to Vegas standards opulence LOL
I used to love the lunch buffet it was in my opinion one of the best deals in town for the price. The price has doubled and that is ridiculous not going to go there anymore.

i waited untill my lunch was ready before i watched this, watching your video's on an empty stomach Derek is hard work lol, but here i am eating my Roast Leg of Lamb with a nice minted gravey and it suddenly occured to me... i dont see any Lamb at these buffet's, why not?
OMG what a bunch of slop! And Lunch is $15? How professional was the omelette station with nearly every container looking like a five year old went thru it and messes it all up. and that "fish stick" looked straight out of a frozen food box. If that is "new and improved" I would hate to see it before!

Do you think that you can be too nice when it comes to your reviews of these restaurants? I was watching a different review recently about the New, Orleans as you just did and her review was extremely negative. Saying they used canned good everywhere. Does using canned goods for food served a negative thing to you? Anyone can get a nice meal for 15 bucks these days and most buffets are 20 plus dollars, sure it's ayce, but is the quality there to justify it?
