I put a brake lever from a bicycle on mine. When you push the mill, it speeds up and releasing it stops it. Really nice.
Good work on your modification nicely done
kudos. that s a neccesary modification mine bends. Ill be doing this one for sure
Hello Cy Robert here from South Carolina,
Hoping all is well, and the vids are Gr8..
Take care and GOD Bless😇😁
I went back and viewed you first sawing cedar with that mill several time's. Somthing about cedar.
Works pretty darn well! I just dropped a medium pine the other day. I always enjoy using my chain saws.
Always appreciate you content too! You definitely give me courage to try wood working projects. Lol not that they turn out great. But practice makes perfect. Keep it up!
Glad your back, missed ya!
Enjoyed this series. Good stuff. Your content is just around the stuff im interested in seeing and tamper in myself. Currently looking into getting a cheap bandmill because the chainsaw milling is hard work and takes time i dont have.
Yes the band mill is Way faster than the chainsaw mills. But with the upside of the speed comes the struggle to load it, I am lucky to have a tractor for that, before the tractor it was a bear.
Awesome job. Thanks for reminding too, I need to change the hose on my water bottle, I think it got pinched with the tine on the forks moving the power head with my Tractor. Luckily, I don't think my bottle will perish like yours, as it's made from Alloy. Great to see you out and about doing things.
Good work. We shared this video (and part 1) in our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Thank you. The moon vice video you shared is still getting good views too.

Good job Bro...
I can watch go thru a crusher any video would be welcome, if you post it faithful followers will watch
Need a strap or lock of some sort on your height adjustment. It was turning on its own while cutting and on a really long log it might really mess up your cuts.
It does that but it has no effect on the cut because of the tower locks. Now if I forget to lock the tower locks yea it could get messy. But so far I have not. I will demonstrate what I mean in a future video.
