If I'm correct, the lyrics are from a poem written by a viking who converted to Christianity. It's about how he turned away from Odin to become a Christian.
hahahahhahahahahahahhahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahahahaha
@@MossEater33 nope, that's the RAM chant, not the Commander One. (Or maybe this Is too? I am sure about the ram One)
6:39 epic
I want to see the viking commander and knight commander fight each other. Have some animations as they fight.
A new mode with that would be nice. Maybe a second version of breach, that would stay in the "Breach" section of the menu as the second mode.
"You think you can wiiiin !? Yeee aaaahhhh"
When you're actually playing with a group who knows how to take the Archer points before pushing the ram
Word.
Finally someone with brain.
@XxxSUPERBEASTxxX I push the ram alone while everyone else take the archer points.
Such a group exists?
@@MrSedrack oh ya! I've seen it with my own eyes.

He Attack
He Defend
But Most Importantly.....
He throw fire bombs.
Shlong Dong Millionaire~ he attack he protect but most importantly he throw fire flasc
But most importantly...he throw it on himself!
Boots of napalm resistance
0/10 you didn't mention the guardbreaks/throws
He attac
He defend
But more importantly, he go after those pikemen
This is menacing. Perfect for a viking
It aint epic if the Vikings convert to christianity.
@@SeeDatJabrony923
Honestly it is far more epic. Infighting was always present with the vikings. But if one of the Viking leaders abandoned their pantheon it makes sense why there would be a heavy viking on viking fighting.
@Aiden Hoffman I'm just saying it fits with their fighting style and culture. Raw, full force, and no prisoners
@Aiden Hoffman as did most other cultures
@Aiden Hoffman Their “Brute Force” fighting style made them look like barbarians reborn, however they were actually pretty respectable, and they honoured their opponents and their will to resist against their invasions. Their opponents might see them as savages, but the Vikings saw them as worthy opponents. You might as well see Vikings as more brutal gamers who always say GG at the end of each game, regardless if they win or lose.
Listening to this progress is a cinematic experience
Funny thing is, with the lyrics meaning of how he left the viking paganism for christianity this is basically a christian fighting against knights/samurai/wu lin
The knights are Christians though

Yo arson whats up bro im glad i could say in this comment. A fan of your "art". And also do a good old team of shamens...i dare u no balls.
Makes me think of the Beastmen soundtracks in Total War: Warhammer.
Which, given the Warborn are basically Norsca cosplayers (particularly Raiders)… is extremely apt :D
"Gather warherds, hunt man-filth, kill man!"
this is amazing when playing with friends, especially when you're attacking
I dare someone to translate the war chants from each faction
Team Vincenso I know Old Norse (as it is extremely similar to modern-day Icelandic) but even I cant discern *exactly* what they’re saying cause of their super sexy manly voices and accents.
@@amicable5237 Totally unrelated, but how difficult is Icelandic to learn? If you aren't native, that is.
Miloš Macura Well, the natives of Iceland have been isolated for a long ass time, so the language is kind of an old dialect of Norwegian - and Norwegian itself is one of the European languages distant from Latin (although it follows many of the same rules, there are outliers, and pronunciations are hard).
There are some letters in the alphabet that kind of facilitate these pronunciations, in fact, they make Icelandic look easier than other Latin languages. There is ð which is a deep “th” sound (as in “that” or “other”) and a þ which is a soft “th” sound (as in “thunder”), æ is “iy” - like “a” (as in “play”) and “e” combined - and ö is like “u” (as in “up”) and “o” combined. Those are the extra letters in the alphabet you’ll be seeing a lot.
Truthfully? Not that hard, you just have to put aside your Latin-speaking habits/pronunciations and get used to the weird Icelandic ones.
Try pronouncing “Dauðastund” (It’s what Valk says during her charge; Old Norse for “You die now” - “death” is “dauða”).
Yeah it’s a little different from Icelandic, but Old Norse is like simplified Icelandic, so it’s easier to get used to.
(U’s are mostly pronounced “oo”)
@@amicable5237 Thanks for the tips! I'm planning to learn Icelandic sometime in the future, so any help is welcome.
The Samurai may have the sharpest blade,
The Knight may have the toughest armor,
But neither matters, as nothing can extinguish the unspeakable rage of a Viking..
Or a fire flask with the fury feat.

These are the sounds i make when i invade the Western Roman Empire in Attila Total War as the Danes
TheMajorN, aka the guy who posts all the translation videos, posted a translation for this recently. Funnily enough it's about a viking who converted to christianity. The whole song is about forsaking odin and praising the big J.
.-. Dude this is a fake translation...
@@PACEMINGLORIA "Fake" what makes you say that, do you speak Icelandic?
@@AVGyerra22 And does He speaks icelandic?, this translation is just disrespectful with the gods. he Shall perish for his insolence. why would ubisoft make the vikings believe in the old gods in the campaign and put phrases like (Send To Hell) and another ones involving the old gods, and then make this music.?

This is the best of the attack themes in breach
When you realise that they are christian vikings and they are dissing the norse gods.

I heard references to Valhalla and Frigga in there.
The chant is about a viking who has abandoned his faith in odin and converted to christianity i believe

Vikings attacking theme and their ramming poem are the best. It truly feels powerfull to attack as viking attacker. After that the Knights with their themes and ramming poem and samurai last (eventhough theirs is not bad either but its only intimidating if you know what it means).

Is that type of music what vikings heard?
Kind of
Its a poem, so not really. It's one of many, after all.
if anything, the drums are generally what they've heard during battle, but all the extra instruments are generally what vikings wouldve used if they could.
I hope people realize vikings are just lesser versions of knights. They're not even supposed to be 2 different factions. In earlier times, knights wore the same thing vikings wore. Chainmail, wooden shield, arming sword. What you see in larping leather, movies leather, and games leather. Are all bullshit.
wow its almost like the fantasy game using fantasy designs isnt supposed to be accurate!
It's a game, whatever.
The vikings and the knights had very different cultures, ideals, and architecture. The only real similarities are the ones you mentioned. Anyway, it's a game, it's not made for accuracy, its made for entertainment.
Youre saying something like "Samuráis and Wu Lin are the same" only coz theyre asian, dude theyre very different factions.
