It’s never too late (or early) to learn! I’m 14 but I want to learn how to vogue because I think it’s such a fun style that, despite not being as old as some other dances, still has so much rich history behind it
These lessons help me so much! I’m from the U.K. and the ballroom scene isn’t very big or accessible to new comers so I’ve had to learn vogue through imitation and it’s good to watch your videos and gain the understanding that I want
I have between now and June 17 to get better at hands performance so that when I’m in Providence pride parade, my roller skating to the songs which is amazing, will be even that much more exciting for the crowd
Thanks for the tutorials! I live in Malaysia and even though we have a small drag scene here, it's extremely elitist with heavy focus on expensive costumes and cis males. As an AFAB nonbinary person, watching how the voguing scene welcomes all kinds of people truly made me happy. I have been wanting to learn more but it was hard finding resources. There used to be a few videos but not enough detailed teachings. Became a big fan via Legendary. I wish I could join a house some day!
This is an absolutely incredible explanation, you explain these concepts so very well and I am so grateful that you took the time to walk through these concepts! You are an amazingly talented performer and you've absolutely earned a subscriber! Thank you so so much for doing this for us!
thank you so much for these vids! i love watching vogue and always wanted to learn it but im from a small town in Brazil in we dont have ballroom here. practicing with u is being awesome.
Im from the Philippines and i already fall in love with you the second i saw you in Legendary. You seemed raised very well and a product of a loving family. You are smart and i love you even more on that. I hope you shoot big star real soon and visit the philippines. Youre welcome.in our home, my sis loves you too.💕💕
I love this so much I live in a small town in Canada and we don’t have ballroom and as a queer person it really hard to find things that you feel make you happy and I have been so obsessed with ballroom and your videos are helping me so much thank you for this gravity send love and hope you have a great day 💛💛💛
okay so a long time ago I stumbled across one of your old hands/figure eight vids and was mesmerized. I just came over from sibling watchery after you said you had tutorials omg I’m gonna practice so damn hard 😭
Downloaded/payed for the STEEZY app so I could specifically learn how to Vogue after watching ‘Legendary’ on Netflix. Was so heartbroken (and honestly surprised) that there were absolutely NO vogueing classes/programs Thank you so much for these in depth tutorials ☺️💖
watching all the adds because I love you. Loved seeing you in legendary! the hands performance was amazing!! inspired so much I joined a place that have voguing hour and cant wait to show them what I learned from you ! thank you Gravity
IJust beautiful. I practise tai chi so the hand movements in hand voguing are very interesting and terribly captivating. Following your demonstrations is very calming. I really enjoy it. Thank you, you’re amazing.
I'm pretty sure its Vogue Fem. Vogue has three styles Old Way Vogue, The New Way Vogue and Vogue Fem. The tutting looking movements are actually also part Vogue Fem. Vogue Fem also includes catwalk, duckwalks, the spins and dips. I understand the mix up with tutting tho. It can be confusing for people who haven't learnt about the styles
My name is Raffa, i'm from Brazil and here we don't heave a strong ballroom cene, but your channel is helping me alot into the Vouge (sorry for the bad english hehe)
Do a figure 8 with one hand in front of you. Get the feeling. Then do it with your other, but in the opposite motion. Then put them both together, wrest your wrist on each other. You'll get there.
I used to practice bboying for 2 years but stopped after a surgery in 2013. now I'm learning vogue,The crew i used to bboy with holds an annual show and im thinking about making a guest appearance with my new vogue style and introduce them to something new
I think it's definitely a lot harder to do so outside of the internet, but I think there are a lot of online resources that are super useful! Definitely recommend following and watching ballroom channels and accounts and message your favorite voguers and ask for their feedback -- speaking personally, I'm always happy to look at a video of someone voguing and give my two cents. The other thing is to learn as a community -- take online classes with a group of your friends or just session together. As long as you're being true to the culture and the technique, you don't need a ballroom scene to meet together and vogue. once you build up enough interest, you might even be able to create a ballroom scene of your own with the guidance of people who are a part of it!
I have absolutely no musicality and I just find myself flailing my hands about and laughing at myself and my brain can't comprehend moving my hands different to my legs in a walk or duckwalk etc. I think km gone stick to admiring vogue and ballroom instead
My wife hates when I do hand performances, especially when the babies are crying but after coming home from a long day of plumbing it grounds me & loosens up the wrist.
I'm 67 and always wanted to vogue. You have inspired me to learn, you're a gift. Thank you.

Please I can I take your online classes ?
What are your hand stretches??
Gravity, is it possible to use music other than vogue beats or the classic hands performance beats for a hands performance category?
Really struggling to do the figure of 8 on top of the head… does anyone have any tips please?
Do a figure 8 with one hand in front of you. Get the feeling. Then do it with your other, but in the opposite motion. Then put them both together, wrest your wrist on each other.

Just wanna say that this isn’t tutting its HAND PERFORMANCE which is an element of VOGUE!
