I used one of these G24S machines and a Tascam MSR 24 track machine which was also one inch as my main tracking decks in the late 90s and they sounded so much better than the MC-JH24I 2 inch decks I worked on in bigger studios. This is a great machine.

Sure it is. Also, uses Dolby S which makes noise absolutely negligible. Was sold for less than a week for top price. Glad to see there are people appreciating this technology.

This Fostex is in fact the lowest grade 24 track machine on the market...
But its nice....
