bro, the thing with u is that unlike other youtubers who, when you look at their oldest videos lack any kind of confidence, energy and charisma, you as a relatively new guy on the block has had it all from the very start. It impossible that you wont grow its just up to the algorithm now. anyway carry on doing what your doing.
I like this style of editing! Especially tips with altering recipes and listing ingredient quantities on screen😎 I would’ve liked ingredients to be listed in description box but understandably you have a cook book (I will be purchasing)
Im will be doing this today 04 June 2024 and i will let u know of taste and if diversions were done...i have no fenugreek but will definitely try it and take note of your advise. Thanks
One of the most best produced video I have seen in terms of the quality of content , editing and crisp presentation. So refreshing! I subscribed in less than 60 secs!! A master in action. Keep cooking and posting bro. The recipe is a winner. ❤
This was banging, I made it exact and was ❤. What’s is natural yoghurt? We have Pazeeka, Lancashire or longley farm where I live. Have used any of these?
Just found you via my yt feed ❤ so funny love the mic on spatula. I also love how you cook like my mum and use fresh tomatoes not tin tomatoes!! Look forward to more videos. Pls do more videos critiquing chefs it is so funny x
Just found your videos recently, enjoy your humour and presenting style, will try your recipes this week - they look great. Any chance of a Bombay potatoes recipe?
@@whatinthechef I'm going to be 100% honest with you, I won't pay £15 for a digital recipe book - just can't do it. I do appreciate your content though and will like and comment to show my appreciation.
I'll be honest that is alot of oil for me, so i used an OXO fat separator to remove most of the oil. I'll use that when i make my next batch of curry paste, fill an icecube tray let it freeze, double bag it to make quick curry sauce as an when i want. Also when i made this last night i used passat rather than fresh tomato's as the local supermarkets tomatos are not worth the money being force ripened. Thanks for the recipe, it was way better than the last take away i had, even made my soso homemade naan bread to mop up the sauce. take care, God bless one and all.
Excellent Video. Moot Point, I'm not sure how you were able to cook Raw Chicken in 10 mins and 5 mins on low heat? As per any Chef, Chicken is the hardest meat to cook to correct TEMPERATURE to be able to eat.
I really like your videos and I’m probably going to buy your book! I know it’s authentic to the recipe but bro you really need to do some recipes with less oil. That’s like 800 calories of oil right there! I reckon it would be just as good with half the amount, or even less!
No haha the madras powder is just a curry powder. It’s just called a madras powder but the blend is just a curry powder. The previous vid is a madras because the main difference with a madras is you add more chilli powder and a splash of lemon juice in the end, you can add madras curry powder to that recipe too. Hopefully that helps.
I'm sorry bro - but any 'authentic' cooking of a curry that uses 'Madras Powder' is cheating. No such spice exists in India/traditionally. This is a little bit of a cheat, if I am honest. But, well done for putting your content out there....
Where did he say it was “authentic”? I don’t think “traditionally” you would add frozen blocks of ginger & garlic either… but it’s about convenience 👍🏽

Going to cook this dish tomorrow for some guests, looking forward to it. Can I ask which type of salt do you use?
Can’t wait to try this! I recently subscribed after watching a few of your excellent videos🤠
You my friend are a great find - This was as good if not better than a take-away! What is your thoughts on using Ghee instead of veg oil?
I appreciate that!! Yes you can use ghee. But I would use a combination of ghee and oil.
Well presented list of spices
Love your recipes! Will you be publishing a hard copy of your book?
Salam. So I gave it a go and turned out really well. Only thing I would say is I added a little too much salt.

Hey thank you and possibly, it is in my curry cookbook too 👀

Like the foil on the cooker! Looks good easy to clean
Great video! Any chance you have a link for the glass lid for your Samuel Groves pan? I’m looking for one that fits well!
Hey I don’t have a link. I bought the 26cm pan so I just found any 26cm lid to go on top
No worries. Thanks!
Book is getting ordered pronto!
Can you do bhindi ghost (okra)
Do you take the bay out at any point?
Great video !!
Thanks alot for sharing
loving your work bro. funny and engaging with great food guidance
The food looks good, but where did get those slippers?? 🔥
Hey bro, what type of whole chicken did you use? Will the spices amounts stay the same with a whole baby chicken for example. Thanks
So I used a whole baby chicken. The spices can be kept the same for 1-1.5 baby chickens. Any more than that and I would up the spices a little.
@@whatinthechef and when you say low heat on the small hob do you mean at the lowest setting?
Thermodynamics. Exactly.
If I wanted to add potatoes, at what stage would I do that?
Just made this and it was gorgeous. Made some crispy onion and coriander fried rice and naan breads to go with it.. 😅
Glad you enjoyed it!!

Hi, how come my my curries turn out a light brownish colour where as yours are dark which is what I want. Please help
Depends on your spice brands and also how much you use
@whatinthechef well what do u use
Looks amazing. You just won a sub. Please celebrate by doing your version of a Garlic Chilli Chicken.

Hey thanks a lot. Also I understand what you’re saying but this will serve 4-5 people!! So it’s about portion control haha.
Gotta try this too 👍
Bangladeshi people know how to cook, best in the world!
Nowhere near that's Indians Pakistanis which Bangladesh took from. They normally only cooked fish beforehand
❤id love a tagine recipe
I made this last night, oh my god!, best curry ive ever made, never buy a jar again
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Real dope...salute, ❤
So is this not a madras as you have added madras powder?
Last video is more of a chicken masala and this is a madras… either way both will be delicious!!!
No haha the madras powder is just a curry powder. It’s just called a madras powder but the blend is just a curry powder.

Still nice 👍🏾
very good video
Nice one
If you mix a small amount of gram flour into your yoghurt, this will prevent it from curdling.
Didn’t know this, thanks
Just cooked it m8 but I used drumsticks it was lovely very tasty I'm saving the rest for later😂😂
Prawn curry please, large prawns butterflied ❤
Masala has no corander why did you add it?
If you already know how to cook it, why are you on a recipe video
Could you do passanda?
I have an alcohol free version in my digital curry cookbook
Can you please show a butter chicken and I will buy your book 😭
Butter chicken is in the book 👀

Looks amazing, love your slippers brother!!! Thigh all the way, and it’s cheaper than breast, more flavour and doesn’t dry out!!
£90+ for that 26inch pan (and don’t even come with a lid)…!! 😱
No way did you just stick the mic on a spatula 🤣😂
You don't need to chop the " booty hole " of a tomato... it doesn't shit .. its a vegetable / fruit.
You must be fun at parties
Well it made me laugh 😂
But water is all I have ☺️
Is man Bengali?
What difference would it make? 🤔 Silly boy
Bro 8 tablespoons of oil! Can I get away with using any less?
You can try 5-6, but you really want that oil separation
@@whatinthechef cheers brother appreciate the reply
Fat or oil is what makes a good curry. To much water then it just like a stew.
Have you ever ate so much fenugreek that it made you poop as a side effect?
Bro £100 for the pan is a bit expensive man, why this much? Why is better than other stainless steel pans at 40quid or 50quid mark
I bought it when it was £60, unfortunately it’s gone up
😅 I paid 140 for mine. Its cast iron though.
Add salt or no flavour 😂😂😂
