This is one of the few UA-camrs I really hope they continue to make videos. An honest, upfront man who isn’t bullshitting us about the things he’s experiencing. Makes me want to try some of the foods he’s showed us

TheRustyPeppers I appreciate that it is both. The authenticity that I can gauge from the respectful manner he eats the delicacies makes his shows very awesome to watch. He even asks the lady at the conservatory about eating alligators, which is both an lol moment and a-" hmmm" moment. Making us think about the consequences and not just showing off, "hey, I ate this and that." Another thing that I like about him is that he has a genuine yunmy face, different each time because each food has always something unique to offer his tastebuds. :) keep it up besty!
This is the only channel that I can watch with my wife quietly. This man deserves more subscribers.

Sonny, having you participate in the actual hunting/catching/trapping/capturing of the food sources you feature and eat takes your videos to another level. You make it seem like a fun , dangerous and exciting adventure although I am sure it is often NOT any of those things.

Tamilok actually is not a worm but a bivalve mollusc. They are related to clams, mussels, oysters, etc.

Rich Remmy not that. Since it was called shipworm, many people will actually mistaken it as a worm. Misleading names are common eg. the 'Koala Bear' which is not a bear, the 'Killer Whale' which is a dolphin, the 'Flying Fox' which is a fruit bat. The list continues for non-fish organisms like the starfish, jellyfish, etc.
And, it would be really better if tamilok isnt called shipworm in english right? Like people wouldnt gross-out knowing its a mollusc.

Well, I can understand it.. Mark Wiens makes everything look like its overwhelmingy good, and if you watch to much it gets annoying.. Trevor James is more calm, sometimes to much and rating on the side with some information.. But I still like them both a lot! But yes, right now, I also watch Sonny and Mike Cheng much more - and those are the both guys that should do a video together! They could even sell a funny TV show to a US station ;) Because Sonny + Mike "Strictly Dumpling" Chen has the same humour and is also very outgoing
