      @@johnohalloran915 hahaha I like to keep it like that! Like I said in the video it’s not for everyone but coming from a background where everything was just chucked in the van no organisation and things got broken on a regular basis. I wouldn’t have any other way.

    AN enjoyable video to watch - so good to see a professionally laid out van. Clients are always impressed when they see equipment looking well maintained and
    logically arranged inside the van. Shows a tidy, methodical approach work. You're wise to leave space at the back of the van for one off equipment needs. Really looking forward to seeing your new seasons videos. Best wishes from Ireland.

      Hiya! Thanks for the comment glad you enjoyed it! That is a good question!! So the ego is held in with that red bungee that is clipped onto the ply. And tbh the Honda just sits perfectly in the grove of the floor and doesn’t move an inch!

      Hiya mate thanks for the support!!! Yeah I have had countless customers say how professional it looks!
      Uhhhh that’s brill!!! Yeah always do your research into you local area I:E what’s the going rate for gardening,and also what sort of work you want to be doing weather it’s just mow blow go (in and out) kinda jobs or you want to do general garden maintenance or like me you do both!
      Best advise I can give to you mate is get yourself on a marketing app like the one I’m on trusratrader or check a trade, they have brought me in so much work the past year! Second bit of advice would be to buy cheaper tools and work your way up! At the beginning it’s all about getting those customers in! Hello!
    Thanks for the great video!
    I have a few questions. I plan to organize a similar business and initially start with lawns. I am planning to buy a scarifier, a mower, a trimmer, and a blower.
    Please tell me, is it possible to get by with one multimotor for grass and bushes, etc.? Which one of yours would you recommend? Which one is easier to work with?

    • @Grasscutplus
      @Grasscutplus  10 місяців тому

      Hiya thanks for the comment! Yes, of course, it’s possible to just use a militia tool for both strimming and hedge cutting! The only downside is the more you use it you do run a risk of the connection in the middle getting over worked and eventually breaking! But from the experience I have had with my combi unit it’s been fine! Personally I would wait on the scarifier and get the fundamental tools that you’ll be using every day! Like mower strimmer blower and a good combo unit! Although scarifier is a decent tool to have I would strongly recommend getting the bread and butter of the trade first! As a scarifier, I’ll only be using a few times a year! Hope that helps!

      So the br 800 doesn’t move at all! It’s a pretty heavy bit of equipment and have a decent wide base so it’s pretty solid!
      And haha the carpet I didn’t put in when I brought the van it came with the carpet and I liked it so kept it haha!

    Hi mate , I was looking at buying a STIHL FS 55 R , do you think it would be best spending a bit more and buying the kombi unit or just stick with the strimmer ?

    • @Grasscutplus
      @Grasscutplus  8 місяців тому +1

      Hiya mate! So it’s completely up to you and is personal preference mate! Personally I like having a dedicated strimmer as it’s less fiddling around constantly swapping attachments. And I do have a STIHL KM 94 RC which is used primarily as a hedge trimmer with occasional use of the edger, the Comby units can sometimes fail in the middle with all swapping of attachments so that’s why I like to have a dedicated, straight shaft strimmer. The fs 55 is an entry-level strimmer so bear that in mind when purchasing! Hope that helps!
