Thanks exactly what I needed to setup my mic correctly 🙏
Bro this was so helpful! Thanks
Great video, thanks!
Hi thanks for your the lesson, something important you forgot to include, how long is the charging and how do I know battery is full charged?
great video can i use this mic for podcasting on pc
Hi! Just bought myself one couple of hours ago. Got a used one in perfect condition for 100$ bucks, for the price I got it, it should be a killer aha. Hope it will work out well for my shoot tomorrow. I've put mic to 10 and in my A1 I set volume to about 5, should work out fine I hope. Thanks for a video, well done.
How did it work out , im thinking about buying one for 100$ too
I bought this think it would also plug into my Mac and iPad Pro via USB-c so far it doesn’t. Any ideas?
do you prefert 75db or 150db
If I have the Deity D3 Pro connected directly to the camera, will it turn off when I turn the camera off, and then turn on when I turn the camera back on? (without me pushing any buttons?)
It will go on sleep mode to save battery and turns back on when you turn on your camera
Can't the Pro turn on automatically when attached to a camera that is turned on?
I have both and I use the cheaper one simply because I don't have to worry about turning it on lol. Also the screws on the cheaper mic are higher quality than the pro 😂🤦🏾 it always falls off.
Boss that spin button for make the mic loud or what
Yes oo , for gain or volume of mic
great video :) I have this microphone and would love to know how to use it properly.
Could you tell us what the gain knob does in terms of sound? I know nothing about audio 😭
Gain increases output volume. Having gain too high at any 1 step will cause clipping (volume too high, loses information) and noise. Having gain too low will cause output audio to be too low, which can introduce noise if you have to digitally increase volume. Usually you’ll want to set gain so that your peak volume does not ever reach 0 on the meter, causing clipping, and it’s usually best to have some headroom to be safe. Any more can then be added in post, often through the help of limiting/compression in voiceover work.
The screw at the bottom prevents you from sliding on
I thought the same thing I even went and ordered a new mic😂but in all actuality all u have to do is twist it to the left and it’ll come off… u just gotta play with it
Battery is ghetto.. why deity, whst a let down
