Great video. Drill baybee drill on a nice cool day. A few other options and pointers to reduce risks: Take a sledge hammer to the drives before storing at home. If you are top 5% rich always use an OS that supports Bitlocker or an encrypted external drive to store your files. If you are top 1% rich, bring your drives to a "drive shredder near me", and watch them destroy Encrypted USB drives are cheaper than ever, have three: one for use, one to bring to the bankbox, and one in the bankbox (often a mostly compliant Faraday cage). If you have a family member that is good with computers, treat them to a $27 USB3 to SATA cable kit and DOD compliant Wipedrive software - for newer computers, make sure the software is solid state drive compatible. And ask them to do the work Make sure the drives at home are secured - you don't want a service person or thief to pocket one or more of your drives.
Thanks! What brand of encrypted USB drive do you use? I had one once, but it flaked out on me. Curious what brands have the reliability I need. Cheers!
Dude! I didn’t know you had a UA-cam channel!

@@kensyootoob I've had good luck with startech; have you contacted the company that flaked on you?
@@geauxcotg2150 I gave up on them, since the first experience was such a dud, I didn't want to give the another shot with my data :)
