Does a rose always have to be set on am overhanging wall? Can it be set in a slab? If so, what requirements are needed for that wall angle?

That’s a good question! Roses can be set on any wall angle. On less steep walls, the hand hold selection needs to be even more precise because it is easier to match holds. Same rules apply though, make sure the feet allow you to position your body to rose but not to take too much weight off your hands so that you could match the ‘rose’ hold

I have set at 2 national events and was slated to be on the National setting team this past April but the comp was cancelled due to COVID
