Personally, I prefer the tone of the II Cannone D&F Medium and II Cannone Original Soloist in terms of their tonal colors. I don’t exactly know why but they just had the nicest sound to my ears. Of course this is an electronic recording, so under the ear or in the room live will most definitely sound a bit different, so it’s hard to say for sure.
