Wow Craig. You really do appreciate your Dolly. Anyone who needs to catch up on her discography should check out this video. She just did a fabulous interview on the Howard Stern Show. Did you hear it? He really got her talking about a lot of things that she never talked about before. The best part of it all was how she enjoyed herself. Man was 2023 an amazing year for Dolly vinyl. Other than her two Bluegrass albums finally being on vinyl thanks to Vinyl Me Parton, my best Dolly score was three of her late 60's and early 70's albums sealed. Do wish Vinyl Me Parton kept going, but if they reissue Grass is Blue instead I'll be a happy guy Only things I didn't buy was Rockstar which like you I just didn't like it outside a couple tracks. Don't get how people attack you and question being a fan for not blindly loving everything she does. Also didn't buy Holly Dolly Christmas, nor have I bought it ever on vinyl. I just listen to the few good tracks on Spotify
I was really hoping they would extend Vinyl Me Parton. There's definitely enough material for at least another year. Is it in any way confirmed that it's not happening? Love your collection!
Love to see that there is someone out there who loves Dolly even more then me. 😀 I became an VMParton member for 3 months cause to get Hello Im Dolly. Also the one I was missing from her early yrs. But I was very dissappointed with Halos and Horns. The coverart is from an terrible source, no gatefold and most important it sounds like an CD and not on the good way.. No dynamics, boomy. And some ugly socks came with it. Btw...its the first album Ill get on vinyl by any artist which was released after 1990. 😀.
i don't have any of the vinyl me please vinyl but if i did the top 2 i would want most would be Hello I'm Dolly because my vinyl of it has bad scratches i probably should had check the vinyl for scratches but i just glad i found at the time side 2 of my vinyl of Hello I'm Dolly plays better than side 1 & Halos & Horns i like really that album & my favorite Dolly Song Raven Dove is on that album i listen to alot after my older brother died in auto accident leaving work because of speeder in oct of 2012 i had the song ripped from halos and horns cd copy i bough with her other 2 bluegrass albums on my computer i played Raven Dove 12 times in a row once

Yes, Dolly originally recorded "Tomorrow is Forever" with Porter in 1969; it reached #9 in early 1970. Very nice collection!
