John Doyle & Mick McAuley

John Doyle and Mick McAuley will stop by WTJU this Wednesday afternoon, June 15, around 3:30 for a live session. We are delighted to join our friends at Blue Ridge Irish Music School to present them in concert that evening at Potter’s Craft Cider. You can catch their session at The Stage at WTJU’s Facebook page and UA-cam channel. With a bit of luck, we might even be able to broadcast some of it on the radio (91.1 FM and streaming at wtju.net) come 4pm!

I was doing a bit of a tour in Germany with a fiddle player Brendan Clancy around the same time as Mick and John were there. We crossed paths. Mick is an old friend of ours and it was brilliant to eventually meet John. Amazing muso's but most importantly, great people. Great video.
